cool video I like that these old ships are getting reworks. will it make me want to buy them? No I'm past that. My question to you would be, What ship and or stat change would have to be done to get you to buy one of these older ships?
If they gave one of the American commanders the skill that sansanetti has it would help the one that increases the sap pen or damage not sure which one
I just pulled a san Diego and ognivoi out of 2 crates today a tier 3 crate.i was hoping for jb but i was shocked to realize they were both super prizes. The down side of san Diego is the sap over saturats very fast and the damage is underwhelming. But im glad i have it because i love flint and Atlanta. San Diego is just a neiche ship. I get greqt damage on enemy ships but after 4 salvos I start getting almost no damage. It's hard to finish targets off.

This buff has been absolutely incredible for this ship. Like you said, it's very effective at killing DDs, but with the hp buff, it's now a lot more viable to run a mobility build with Kinkaid, and you can be an absolute nuisance to red BBs. I would highly recommend using Von Essen as an inspiration on the San Diego, as the improved pen angles make the SAP more effective than ever. The ship has a high skill floor, and to get the most out of it you need to be pretty well versed in light cruiser gameplay.
How does the Minotaur contrast and compare to the San Diego and Tiger 59? How effective is it against DD's? I am new to the game and just ground my third tier V.
I’m not noticing any improvements to survivability in my brief replay of this ship. Having each section contain more HP means I’m taking more damage in most hits, completely countering the extra HP it got. The guns are better for sure, but I’m not sure what the extra HP is supposed to do for me at the moment.
Tiger 59 is masterful at cap control. It requires patience. Unfortunately not a ship that you can play high or inebriated. Disqualifying 80% of the player base.
i feel san diego was a decent ship all along its one of those ships that if you play it right it will do well the buff has definetly made it easier to be effective no doubt its only bad cuz its not easy to play
In a stream last update, Blip said Anchorage has the same AP as Baltimore…before that, everyone seemed to think it had Wichita AP…heard it second hand, so…..

SD now has a 16mm bow and stern, up from 13…which means 8in AP will no longer overmatch. Wasn’t listed in the buff details, but it is there now

Hey Xarcun do you think if they added HE as an option that it would help with playability. Can switch the AP for HE.

I believe that you're mistaken the Anchorage has Wichita AP not Baltimore so not super heavy However I could be wrong but I don't think so

On pc they say Anchorage has New Orleans AP, yeap definitely not Baltimore AP.

Needs to have SAP and HE. Italian ships should have the same. Underperforming compared to other cruisers.
