For server-side validation, I'd recommend taking a look at graphql-shield. graphql-shield is an interesting Apollo Server middleware that lets you define a separate rules object which defines your validation rules (which may be yup schemas). I'm currently using this in a project with graphql-code-generator and some custom TypeScript mapped types and I'm quite happy with it.
graphql-shield is great for permissions
Hi ben; It Would be interesting if you showed how to configure your .babelrc files and also how you deploy it to docker?
I think at 18:37 It can be fixed by deleting the lock file.
having an issue running yarn start... error says "error Couldn't find a package.json"
Would you still use type-graphql for bigger projects? when connecting to typeorm etc + more complex services, or is there another library you would think about using?
yeah, I'm using type-graphql for www.mysaffronapp.com/
