At the rear, there are 4 heating vents (not 2); 2 visible and 2 under the front seats to warm the feet of rear passengers.
What I also like about this car is the large set of messages that Honda has programmed into it; if, through distraction, I do something stupid, it doesn't execute the stupidity and gives you a specific message in the dashboard. Don't take your hands off the wheel, a message will ask you to take the wheel again. If not, the car will leave the road safely. If a door is badly closed, it will tell you which door is badly closed. I could cite a large number of example but . . .
In sport mode, you almost have "one-pedal driving like". After selecting the sport mode, you set the desired regeneration level. When you will release the gas pedal, it will apply regeneration as instructed. If you set it to level 4, you'll use the brakes very little, as the regeneration motor will take over most of the braking.
I love this car. Mine as 60,000 km. It is a 2020 luxury model.

I would love to see that original Clarity review, that company that the relationship was ruined with now has its tail stuck between its legs. Look how far you have come Zack!

Best car no one has ever heard of. No worries over the planetary gear set. Toyota and Ford use that in their hybrids. I enjoyed your review. This is the best hybrid made for 2021.....

3:05 Honda i-MMD hybrid system does not utilize planetary gear. there is a simple clutch enables the engine to directly drive the wheel during high speed condition.

I have had it for over 4 years now, still the best the PHEV for the money I paid by far! Not going to sell it any time soon. I am averaging about $30 per 1000 miles with $5.50/gl. To bad Honda didn't update it and kept it going.

Great video and accurate as I understand it. Picking up a 2018 certified Touring Clarity tomorrow. 25k on it. Looking forward to reducing my carbon footprint by using my Cadillac Escalade, which is wonderful, BTW, sparingly and the Clarity for everyday driving and shorter trips.

None of my business but did you end up getting this?? I bought one a little over a month ago and was curious as to what you thought so far?

@@philt98569 Hello. No problem. Yes, I bought the 2018 Clarity. Functionally it met all of my expectations. The car works really well. The only time I have used gasoline was on a 160 mile round trip. Then I used hybrid mode for the highway and switched back to battery once in the city. It is fun to drive and very satisfying to run it only on electric power, for the most part. The car is not Cadillac comfortable, but it is just fine for my wife, our nine-year old son, and me for most trips. Plenty of room. I am watching the industry move quickly to EVs. I get that as a longer term strategy, but for now and where we live, which is 10 miles from a city of 125,000 and 80 miles from a major metro area, the PHEV approach fits the best. When range of 400+ miles is commonplace and fast chargers are easy to access the EV will really be a viable choice. Meanwhile, as long as I tow trailers up to 7,000 lbs. I will keep my Cadillac. BTW, I estimate that between my wife's Highlander Hybrid and the Clarity we will reduce our carbon emissions by about 11 tons annually compared to her Odyssey van and my driving the Cadillac 100%.

Hey I'm also in the market, but prices are so inflated right now that I can't even tell what's a good deal. How much did you pay for your 2018 Touring with 25k miles?

@@nanpoe ABSOLUTELY....!!! BEST CAR I've ever owned. 90% of the time I drive it in EV mode. And whenever I need it on the highway or to travel out of state I can drive in hybrid mode with the Press of a button.
By leveraging the technology I'm still able to get over 50 EV miles per charge.
When I travelled out of state to visit family, I didn't have ready access to a charging station. So I just used the car in hybrid mode and it charged the battery itself up to 60%!!
GREAT car! Couldn't be more pleased.

@@nanpoe You'll be very happy. I've owned the car for over 2 years now and there isn't a single thing I don't like about it. It's large spacious and comfortable and feels like a luxury car and yet it's super practical and flexible. Great technology. Best of luck with it!
