Thank you!! Thank you!! for showing the old Itbayat port. My mom and dad had talked about how they used to travel between Itbayat and Basco and the dangers they faced. Dad is from Itbayat and mom is from Basco. Really enjoyed your drone shots, they are amazing; very cinematic. Now I can show the grandkids their grandparents' hometowns. Hopefully, we can go back home to visit soon.

When Sherlyn smacked her hands together and the way Finn reacted... reminds me of how it used to annoy my husband when we lived in the Far East. I told my husband it's like a natural instinct to smack in the air--sometimes right in the middle of a serious conversation and then I go...whack/smack👏the lamok!

After a long boat ride fr Basco with nice cliff view. Going down fr the boat was really exiting, likewise in riding into the boat. Dancing with the waves

Batanes is definitely #1 for me. It's not just the views and the tourist spots. It's the people, the culture, even the local government. They're just doing everything right and I hope the rest of the Philippines learn from them.

Batanes really takes u to the simplicity of life.
saw that port and wow that is soooo dangerous and I thought about our politicians specially the governor there etc that they need to push and build better ports in there province....for their safety and accessibility......it makes me think whats taking them so long to build a better port? im pretty sure we have tax payers there and they deserve a better port.

That Itbayat dock needs at least a ramp for exiting the boat! A breakwall would be a costlier and the ultimate fix.
The equipment at the dock that was pounding was a pile driver and it was pounding parts of a dock being built into the seabed. Thanks for sharing your adventures Finn and Sherlyn!
Okay this is really good next level travel vlogging; off the beaten path where few go and an adventure in itself just getting on that boat, this is better than most shows on the telly! Pulag near Banaue one day for an amazing sunrise\sunset in a sea of clouds, and someday if you came to Bicol please visit and promote the underrated Calaguas group of Islands here in my province of Camarines Norte. Most of us Filipino don't have the budget to go on a trip even on the tourist spots in our province we prioritize our own family's finance than ourselves so while watching you travel across the Philippines it's like were also travelling with you..
