This song is the theme of my life right now, along with "non stop". Just some guy with fire taking on the world. I'll never become famous like Alexander Hamilton, and I have no interest in it either, but with hard work I can make a similar difference. I think Hamilton speaks to a lot of people too. I never had a father, barely had a mother. I grew up poor and for the longest it seemed like I'd become the same washouts they were. I'm committed now to making sure that never happens. It's inspiring to see that drive working out for someone, even if it's just a play.
I always fantasize about history when hearing this. Can you imagine a US President at their inauguration speech singing this at the end of their speech and the whole crowd listening joins in at the end like in the song? That shit would be unifying

OH MY GOSH I just to say, just this past few months, I joined my school's musical (we did Legally Blonde) and I started to really love the songs from the musical. I never watched musicals before now, and thought they were cheesy. I haven't seen Hamilton, but I frickin' LOVE THIS SONG! I am now a new musical lover, here I come Hamilton!
