I have enjoyed watching your videos on the Tevo, I have just ordered one and want to fit a sherpa Mini aswell. What do you think of the Wham bam build plate system? I have too much trouble releasing prints off glass bed on my little QQ-S. does your tevo slam the carriers when homing, like I have seen on some videos? also, on some videos, people seem to have the problem where the effector/hotend just falls down to the bed all th time?

Hi Mike! I'm glad you found my videos useful. I don't like the wham bam system because it can lose bed calibration every time you remove it. My bed calibration is about a year from now and it's totally fine. I can print on the whole print area with the ideal first layer. You should use some adhesive solutions (and isopropyl) if you do not want trouble with removing parts from the glass bed. I use skr1.3 + tmc2209 + klipper firmware with custom config and do not have any problem with "slam the carriers when homing". And yes the stock effector is pretty heavy and falls down. Buuuuut my custom effector with direct is much lighter and it can hold by itself)))If you have any questions please let me know.
