Also those barrels are Gatling guns used for when the claw is holding down the enemy suit to inflict more damage.

Yeah the inner frame of the Astray units is based off of the Prototype series built on heliopolis the only thing they didn't get from that was the phase shift armor but that's okay thanks to the foaming metal armor it's made out of it's lighter and has a longer operating time. And that's also why the high grades for the astrays like the red frame with flight unit and the blue frame second l have the same Peg attachment as the rest of the striker packs which means you could mount a gun barrel strike Striker pack onto a gold frame amatsu Mina. yeah and in the end the main difference was the operating system and the armor materials

Like, they were prepared for 50 episodes, but around episode 15 they were told that the series will only get 25 episodes. This is the best way I can explain how I felt about it.
I just got mine in today. One of my regular stores I use got ONE in each randomly. Cheapest was $109.00 (USD) with a little off with a cyber Monday code, kind of ridiculous but with the coupon code it’s probably the best deal I’ll be able to find on a brand new one from a retailer so I just bit the bullet and got it. Been wanting one for around a year or so. Hopefully P Bandai will have another run of them in the near future.

Well when it comes to that you just have to paint it up and change the V fin. But yeah it's probably going to be a p Bandai exclusive and the sad thing is we're never going to get this as a high grade so people like me who have loved this thing since 2005 have to kitbash to make our own but thankfully parts from the astray and from the Blitz and from the freedom it's just getting the shoulders and making the custom Striker pack is the main issue
pre ordered this kit back in June when it showed up on P-bandai's site since I LOVE this things design and its finally showing up on monday with this video only getting me even more excited for it to come in. Glad to hear its a good kit.
it looks so damn sturdy, my mg duel has taken a high shelf dive and survived with only a break on the front skirt (this forced me to fix/mod it so its no longer so damn flimsy) so I am counting the days until a reissue!
Me too. I like the shade of Maroon and yellow more on the Dragon Momoko version. It also has two sets of Pistols, 2 Handgun Types and 2 Revolver Types.

I'd be down for seeing this in 1/144 to be sure. I'm not the biggest fan of either Seed or herpes, but I make exceptions for Astray and Astray-like kits. Only issue I have with MG is a lack of space. EDIT: I kind of want those claws on a Moon Gundam bash...
I really loved building this kit. The SEED frame goes together so well. I can't wait for them to release an Astray Out Frame with this kit as the base.
There’s a free mobile game app called “Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare” and from what I know, it’s official. It’s already 1.5 years old and I’ve been playing it for a while now. The customization is great, except you have to get the parts to customize, and the only real problem is that if you want really hard to get gunpla parts, you’d better be prepared to spend cash. It’s definitely playable without spending a dime, since I play like that.
As far as the beam pistols, brand/model number engravings on actual handguns are typically asymmetrical like that (on a majority of the ones I own anyway).
I think the thing on the bottom of the pistol is a laser sight... Not positive tho Also ring backpack think is to he used with the hand sheild to make a massive claw shield thing
If I had to hazard a guess, the unexplained backpack configuration might be a Voiture Lumiere system like the Stargazer, Turn Delta, and Red Frame Kai have. None of the Testament Gundam's concept art shows it with the wings in that configuration, so just shooting from the hip here.
If mecha got himself a vtuber avatar, i would shit myself. But if he did, it would have to be of his upcoming mechagaikotsu custom rather than his typical skeleton avatar.
We are so close to the perfect 1/100 articulated hands, The one for Sazabi ver ka is almost perfection. Sadly the majority of gunplaers, including gunpla youtubers preferred this fixed posed hands. And bandai followed suit. But maybe its just me. Who swish swish their mastergrades while working. And found it annoying to hunt for the needed hand option everytime I change poses for my gunpla.
The extra wing gimmick for the divine striker is to use it as a huge ass claw. It's just a new feature that's been added when Bandai made this in MG, and as far as I know, I don't think the wing claw was used in the manga. they mention this in the p-bandai testament Gundam page so I guess they omitted the instructions assuming you read the page when buying it, but the whole things in Japanese and Bandai only ships to limited places so yeah I think would have been better for them to add some bit of instructions.
Someone kit bashed the FM barbatos lupus rex with the testament and it looks awesome I forgot the name of the channel so I don't remember who made it but I just thought it was appropriate to mention

It actually doesn't attach to the arm. The backpack is on an arm and it can wrap around to the side, looking like it is on the arm.
