Ah, the Thedosian Griffon. I so want to ride one of these in a future game!

Do you mean ride them or “ride them”?

When I read Last Flight, it was an emotional rollercoaster of a book, more than the others. Utterly heart wrenching.
What brilliant beasts the griffons are, so intelligent and proud, and loyal. Imagine having such a close bond with such a beautiful and majestic creature, when they could destroy you with very little effort.
RIP Crookytail, I so very much hope your little ones are the beginning of a bright future for griffons in Thedas ❤ I loved how one of the babies looks just like their father ❤

You just broke my heart with the 4:17 artwork. The book was hard enough, but to see a Warden holding their dying Griffin is so painful. I'm not crying, you are.

Got all 3 games over the past year just wrapping up DA:O's Golem's and Witch Hunt DLC, then on to DA 2.
Loving the depth and breadth of the lore, and I've been binging your videos when I'm not able to play. Thank you for all the work you've put into these. And they're so much fun to listen to while working. I'm actually sad that I'm all caught up now XD, but looking forward to the next one

I would not be surprised in the least if a certain Mother of the Halla had a connection to the griffons origins.

Thank you so much for making these videos! Inquisition is my first Dragon Age game. The game itself does a good job of giving me plenty of lore & history, it felt a bit overwhelming piece together while playing the game. Your videos really helped me connect the bits of lore & made the game much more engaging to a DA newcomer!

I cried after I read the Novel.. I was so sad that there was no one left. Happy to hear that they still might come to their previous might ❤️

I thought to my myself you haven't uploaded in a while and decided to subscribe so my feed will show me when you upload as I have been planning to for a while anyway and a couple of hours later you upload this video. Fun coincidence.
Griffins are the coolest of all the horse hybrid monsters. I hope to see them in the next game

A very interesting lesson today Professor Absalom, I love these magical creatures in fantasy universes and in Dragon Age they have a good role and respect, I would love in the future to see and form a bond with a surviving Griffon.
PS. As always it was a mage that caused another catastrophe.

Like how you hinted in the video

There's.......there's at least one dragon in every single Dragon Age game...There's 11 in Inquisition.

for ages before.... the DRAGON age, they were gone for a long period of time. Only came back just before the current age. Thus why the Divine named the new age the DRAGON Age

    • @AndersWatches

@@XieronDraxin that’s literally the point. Dragons were thought extinct for ages past, until they returned at the end of the Blessed Age.

Griffins in media have fallen out of favor and are underutilized like I hope we get to see big Griffins in the next game.
