I didnt like her being Germany's Minister of Defense, I didnt like her at all due to her affairs. But this risk she burdens on herself and the symbol she bears, visiting bucha makes me reconsider my inclination towards her. she's a hard working woman. and a brave one. Her visit really impresses me.

It's important to be a witness, to see this horror.

We import nearly 70-75% of our arms from Russia. It's put us in a Very difficult spot . What India wants is to engage both parties into dialogue and stop the war ASAP. President zelensky recently gave an hour long interview to the republic world channel where he describes very well what Ukrainians are hoping from India. We believe that it's not wise to push Russia to the brink of destruction as it will harm innocent russian people as well , and make putin more mad and paranoid. Hence our abstentions. We're trying to maintain a balance of relations between the two opposing parties, and doing what's best for the people of India. The people of India have got absolutely nothing to do with this war. And they nust not suffer because of it.

We understand your frustration. However, keep in mind that being a “Minister of Defense” is a “Ceremonial or symbolic “ role rather than a policymaker. The Minister of Defense is like a middle man between the Generals in the military and Politicians or head of state/government. That applies not exclusively in Germany but also in other democratic countries. Only authoritarian governments have powerful ministers of defense such as Russia, North Korea and China.

No matter who was responsible for this atrocity, it should not be visited by EU officials, but by an independent forensic investigation team.
If EU members can visit the site, I see no problem for an investigative team to go there.
A forensic investigation would be able to determine the time of death, the cause of death and whether the victim was killed on that location or later placed there.
This should actually have been done before any of the victims was moved, but with exception of the location, time and cause of death will probably be sufficient to identify the responsible party.
This would bring clarity to whom is responsible.
In case that this is not done, you can with 99.9% certainty say that it was actually the Ukrainians who were responsible.
Why else would they try to brush it under the carpet.
