It's incredible how, despite all the BS that people has thrown over T7, it's still the most balanced game in the franchise (and rightfully so, I think).
It being so balanced is why I think so many people Play tekken. I can't imagine t7 doing as good as it did with only legacy knowledge level of combos. Bc I started with t7 and bc of it I've since played the rest of the series except t4. Tbh t7 is really good for beginners to learn to play
@@XemnoB Kuni isn't even top 5, as someone else pointed out. Feng, Julia, Claudio and the guest 2D characters are stronger than Kuni. But the fact that a character that isn't even S tier managed to win so many matches tells us something about the good balance that T7 has achieved. (Gigas on the other hand though...)
general roster is more balanced i agree but. there has never ever been a character as broken as akuma in tekken history . or pre patch leroy. when it comes to the most broken stuff tekken 7 has the peak of that
Yeah in the vanilla (arcade) version of T6 all characters were busted and Bob was the best, they nerfed him later. When Bloodline Rebellion came and out and was brought to consoles the GOD Tier characters were revealed to be Lars, Law, Steve and I believe DVJ. It was no surprise one of the best OG Tekken Gods "Nin" used to main Steve, my guv was that busted.
Awesome video bro I still remember the first time i play with him in Tekken 4 Really an amazing character alot of crazy moves Keep going the killer work
In general the top tiers in T6 are just really dumb and safe on everything. A bunch of low risk high reward characters and a lot of them were easy too(bob, lars jack)
Steve was the best character in the game, though it was widely agreed Bob was easier and less demanding to play (basically like how Paul is in 7 - you could play someone else and have a better character or you could play Paul if you just needed the win).
Yes man steve in tekken 6br was strong The bounce system was too good for him His damage in combos were great especially when he was in rage It was great and tekken 6br Steve was much stronger than tekken 7fr steve He has always been top tier since he was released in tekken 4,So I hope that in tekken 8 Steve will be mid tier for the first time because he is almost the only one in tekken history to always be top tier There is a need to change at least once in the Life At least for me that it.
Tekken 6 was when I got into Steve. He was so much more fun than in T5.
I loved doing a duck cancel into wild man for bound! Feels so sick.
indeed

You really think this game is balanced after watching evo finals this year? Lmao
@@XemnoBYea. Kuni isn't the best character in the game. Some wouldn't even put her in top 5

The wildman bound was crazy back then
Steve was broken in tekken 6

T5 tho 💀💀💀
@@er7776 sounds just like t7 to me
@@premiumr98 kinda but atleast low parries give good reward in T7 so everybody atleast takes risks
@@premiumr98T7 has amazing balancing. I can't say anything about the games before it cuz I never played them competitively
At 1:10 there is no b+1,d+2,1 in Tekken 6, only b+1,2,1 because the high, high b+1,2 were from Tag 2
So glad I waited till Tekken 7 to play after playing 5DR
Wildman combos were fun as hell
indeed
T6 Steve was so good.
If d21 cancel into ws12 did exist back then (i didn't touch steve in t6 so idk if it exist or not) the damage would be way overkill

i think Steve will get his Punch parry launcher back in tekken 8...parry to heat bound
Me acuerdo que en un torneo de Tekken 6, ganó un Steve y la gente empezó a abuchear.
That damage is insane lmao
indeed
I don't wish to play ranked with Tekken 6 Steve.
Great showcase brosky
glad you liked it^^
everyone was op back in t6
More about tekken 6 lars ?
Or jack 6 we want to know more :)
