Thank you for your review, very useful! Just a couple of questions: would this monitor work well as any other monitor, or is it "taylored for guitar modelers"? Since it's an FRFR cab, how do ou think would it work with voice and/or other instruments? Most important: if I set my Pod Go with the Headrush FRFR 108, will they sound more or less the same with other FRFR cab (e.g. when I have to share the stage and the PA with other bands and use the monitors provided by the venue/festival etc.)
Hey Benji yes I do think they work just as well. We have used them run guitar and vocal at the same time worked awesome. I have also played bass through them with the POD GO models and worked great although with it having an 8" speaker it doesn't really do the bass justice to get that powerful thump. So like I mentioned I rented a bunch of different FRFRs and they all did sound a little different IMO but for the price difference the Headrush was no brainer. But yes I think they would sound slightly different then other frfr speakers buy not enough I would think you would notice. I hope that helps
you must be me in a different universe. I also have the HTCLUB 40, the BLackstar ID, the podgo with FRFR. and then I have that same keyboard setup as well lol
@NORTHERN LIGHTS STUDIO I have a question. Probably a dumb one but if I'm buying this to use at home with my modeler, will it sound good at very low volumes? I'm guessing that because you are setting all the sound parameters in your modeling unit ( effects, amp, cab ), you can set the amp sim to have a cranked amp tone and then just turn the " master volume " on the frfr down to any level? Thanks
Thanks for a useful video. In a comment you wrote that you played bass with it. Would this be loud enough for bass if used in a basement or garage jam with a drummer? Not gigging at a club, just for fun. 112 is probably better but I like the small form factor of this one. Having one speaker for bass or guitar would be a win.

That's funny...sold the ID amps nnow just down to the Pog Go and the Stage 60
Did you try a new fuse in the one crapped out?
I have two Headrush 112 units that I use with my Helix rack and I quite like them.
They are great for the price point.. I had a 112 as well just found it a little to big for home applications.. Thanks for watching

Absolutely that's why I went this route.. I love them

Its 2000 watts so ya its going to be loud enough and have enough power to drive more than a bass you would get at guitar center.
Absolutely its more then enough especially if you have 2 of them.
Wicked review! IMO turning on each piece of gear independently is better than connecting to a power bar and turning everything on at once.
I agree it must be the power bar lesson learned lol
