I have seen so many fancams of Jin and he always uses those facial expressions, I personally don't think you should really worry because like I said Jin's facial expressions are always that way, but who am I to say that Jin isn't going through something. We don't know.😁💜💜💜

the reason why “looks like someone told them to cry” is because this song is about missing someone deeply and it has become a pandemic symbol for bts and army, they stopped singing this song live long ago and started again just because they miss us, namjoon even said he cried listening to it when the concerts were cancelled, so yeah, they’re crying and we’re crying too

I don't think there is anything wrong with Jin apart from the fact that Spring Day is a super emotional song and has a back story so I think it might have just affected him more during this performance due to the current climate etc. If you look into at the MV and the fan explanations for it then you might understand better. 🙃

And you feel this more with a live band too. Its a emotional song, you can not dance or being hyped. Maybe Jin was not feeling well, but i know Jin is good to put emotions in his live performances. So i don't know why they keep saying whats with Jin..

Jin is probably just in his feelings. This is a super emotional song for everyone - the fans, BTS and people who understand the lyrics. We cry everytime we listen to it. It never gets old it never gets boring. It is a very meaningful song which pays ode to the lost loved ones and conveys what happened in Sewol Ferry Tragedy in 2014 in South Korea. It was heart breaking. The MV is very symbolical as well like all music of BTS. Spring Day is a true Masterpiece.

As others have mentioned there is probably nothing wrong with Jin. The song is emotional and Jin has often said that Springday is his favorite song. So he was probably just in his feels✌🏼✌🏼
There is a theory (because it hasn’t been confirmed) that this song is dedicated to those lost during the Sewol Ferry tragedy, where a group of students were on a school field trip and the ship they were on sunk and many drowned because it wasn’t handled correctly. There’s more info that you can see yourself because the situation itself is very controversial, but yes this song is emotional

they never confirmed it cuz of the government, but there is too much to be a coincident, the clock in laundry scene shows the time the rescue team stopped the rescue.the yellow ribbon and many more hints in the MV and after the song release bts and bighit donated to the family of the ones who lost their life in the tragedy , and their families thanked bts and bighit for the song too.

It's not that there is something wrong with Jin, it's that Spring Day is such an emotional song with a lot of personal meaning behind it and, on top of that, it is the song that they always use to connect with and comfort ARMY (their fans) whenever they or we are in a difficult situation. You could say both us and them have this as our comfort song to understand and cheer the other on

This reaction irritated me; I've seen so many reactions to this song all of which focused on the vocals and sentiment behind the song and appreciated this acoustic version, but these two were just laughing and joking though it and harping about Jin.

This song has very sad lyrics with a very harsh meaning ... I feel that Jin was feeling the music especially because of the height of the pandemic we are experiencing. Although Jin always seems very cheerful and goofy type, but Jin is very sensitive and has his sad moments, I think in this song he sings with his soul ... Jin and all the other boys 💜💜💜
Spring day is a really sad song and I think Jin was just really feeling the song. Especially if you knew the meaning you’d understand that.
spring day is about a tragedy that happened in korea where a bunch of students died while the adults got out, of course thats not the full detailed story but its a rough idea- its said to be kind of a theory but its kind of obvious with all the symbolism and straight lines from books/titles

Am I the only one who got kinda annoyed when they kept picking out how sad and out of the performance jin looked XD like he is fully in the performance that is why he looks like that because it is such an emotional songs , like Army's say one of our main reason we like BTS is because of their meaningful and deep lyrics. I would recommend that you watch lyric videos as well, with english translations to help you understand their songs fully and the real meaning behind them. And Jin probably looked upset cause this is like Army and BTS anthem when we miss each other and cause of this pandemic their tour got cancelled, and they said many times how they cried listening to this because they miss ARMY and performing. If you look closely at other members as well they are looked sad at parts as well. I hope you will take this in for the future :)
I also dont like this girl in reactions . She cant take anything serious and justin also does the same with her. Now a days looks like he is doing it just to get views and with no real intention of listening to their music, understand it, the lyrics and react on that. He misses on lots of parts , lots of important notes and scenes.

It's quite surprising to me that you both failed to recognize that especially Jin of all the band members, was the one who most identified and conveyed his feelings beautifully and movingly through his parts, and chose to laugh at his expressions. All the band members are amazing in their own way, but I think Jin conveys his emotion in such a good way that I want to cry

I agree with everyone who understood that Jin is probably being Just Jin. Slightly too much emphasis on Jin not showing your expected facial expressions and then when he does sing his heart out at the last ..you actually made more jokes on the bass player so maybe you didn't even realise he did sing well. The song is a very sad song which pays tribute to those who have passed and in the MV Jin represented those who no longer are with us (that's what i read). Hope you can read more about Spring Day. Why do you assume they were joking about the bass player? They are reacting to a performance. The bass player is a pretty integral part of that performance

@@thuhuongnguyendang5054 This reaction was too cringey to handle. I am just gonna say it, both Justin and Lala were making comments more towards each other than towards the video. Justin almost never reads the lyrics of the songs, and the meaning of _Spring Day_ particularly is so, so crucial. Sad to see it being completely dismissed and overlooked as "looks like someone told Jin to be sad". Noone TOLD them to do anything. BTS know what they're doing, and the connection they have with ARMY is too special; it's impossible to recognize how much the fans mean to them if you just watch their mvs or react to them here and there. Justin really shouldn't judge an emotional aspect of the performance, because he doesn't even know the members well. It clearly shows here. I can understand Lala, since she's totally new to K-pop and whatnot, but Justin irked me the most.
There is nothing wrong with Jin, only that he is the most emotional singer in the world, he even cried when singing Awake at a concert. And Spring Day is an emotional song
Spring day is such a Jin's song. He is perfect with it as he not also sings but embraces the lyrics which is very sad and meaningful.
I agree with the Comments that Jin was probably feeling the emotion... I feel like V too was holding back emotions in those moments when he gets so introspective in the video. I mean, I get it. V probably feels this song bc of so much hurt he has felt losing so many ppl even in the groups 7 years since debut. Jimin is just naturally happy and tries to be upbeat for everyone and I feel like the energy they would normally get from ARMY siphons into him and he stores it somewhere or something. J-Hope also has his somber moments in this song but he has also always tried to imbue everyone with positivity and I feel like he really had the look on his face that "This is temporary. It will get better soon."
I feel like in this one performance alone you can see so much of the personalities that each of them possesses naturally in how the song affects each member differently.

People tend to forget Jin is an introvert. Jin’s goofy side is mechanism to make the members feel comfortable
despite every comment being about jin i feel like i need to reiterate this point, please try to be more empathetic as you watch these because otherwise your reactions can come off as being insensitive. i know you meant no harm in joking about jin but the pandemic is really affecting a lot of people, having to be away from the ones they love, and jin is no exception to that. this song is about missing someone and wanting to be with them, and that hits home for them, especially now.

The biggest thing I've noticed about BTS is their attention to detail in every song... Like when I first got into them I didn't know the lyrics but you could feel the emotions and lyrics from each member.
I think Jin and most the members weren't into it as much since they said that we as ARMY give us their energy and they haven't preformed infront of fans so.
Jin was feeling thé song so much ..that's it...My bias is as emotional..as his voice. Jin's voice makes me so confused about whether i am alive or dead....to me ..he's got thé most unique and beautiful voice on earth ..and i swear it's not because am biased ...My 2 fav voices are jin's and j hope's ...they just stand out alot when it comes to effortlessly exprssing emotions ...❤💜😭😭😭

you laughing at jin's expression irked me for some reason. he bared his heart through this emotional performance, which is meant to be that way. people can feel sad sometimes, and that's completely up to them. pointing it out once would've sufficed, instead of making jokes out it

i understand what you mean but you also have to remember that as fans we understand the meaning of the song and we are able to pick up on the members expressions and emotions because we know them so well. from justin and lala’s perspective they just see bts being a bit detached from the performance because they were thinking about armys and so they seemed bored cause they were thinking of their fans instead of the performance. i dont think justin and lala meant to be mean they just didnt pick up on the context of jins expression cause they are viewing it from a different perspective than us.
lira yes but they heard JK and RM speaking in the intro which set the tone that it’s a sad song, so deductive reasoning would be that mood of performance would be sad. idk I’ve watched a few vids with Justin and LaLa reacting together and like them both but as vocal coaches they’re not providing much insight on the vocal techniques, but vague observations or missing allot because they’re too busy talking about more superficial aspects. Of course they should have fun, but it’s getting to a point They sound like other reaction channels when they’re together and not serious vocal coaches which is a bummer.

Stop reading so much into what Jin was doing; you don't have to be "on" all the time during a performance; this was a very toned down laid back version of this very emotional track; he wasn't "over it"; he was just peaceful and not his usual worldwide-handsome self because of the sentiment behind this song.

I honestly don't understand your criticism/concern for Jin. He is completely engaged in the performance, to suggest he's not really into it seems crazy to me. Even if you look at his solo live performances,his facial expressions are always more distant/serious. That's just Jin.

The most plausible explanation or logic, i’d say is that Jin was just in the moment of the song. Spring Day is a very meaningful and emotional song.
But again we can’t say for sure if that really is the case, there could be another reason we don’t know about or see. Just like in the first Japan performance of Your Eyes Tell where V was touching his stomach. It wasn’t until days later that it was revealed that he was feeling ill that day.
That's what Jin usually does when he's trying to control his tears, ie looking up n seeming to concentrate on something else.
As I think we’ve mentioned for, Jin was majoring in acting before joining BTS. I think because of that, he really is able to put himself into the mood of a lot of their songs and he feels it and shows it more than the others. This song talks about missing someone you’ve lost or haven’t seen in a long time (Jimin said “I miss you, ARMY!” in the middle of it), and considering the current situation and how much they’ve stated multiple times how much they miss performing and seeing us (they’ve stated before that we help give them energy during live shows and that their performances after COVID have been hard because there is no audience), everybody probably really felt the song and Jin got a bit overwhelmed with the mood. Not to mention these are one of the songs ARMY and BTS like to sing together, the part when the vocalists went “oh-wooaaaoh” would usually be filled with the voices of ARMY

EVEN THOUGH THE SONG IS IN KOREAN, IT IS POWERFUL ENOUGH TO MAKE INTERNATIONAL ARMYS CRY.
JIN, WAS TRYING TO HOLD BACK HIS TEARS. THE SONG HAS A DEEP AND AN EMOTIONAL MEANING, SO HE WAS LOOKING LIKE THAT.

I think the reason why, Jin is acting like that because Spring Day is also about talking to the person you really miss, and since this pandemic have been affecting their tours, and overall scheds to see army. that's the reason. they are missing ARMYs so much.

Somehow or rather in my opinion d biggest mistake is justin bringing this lady to do reaction on spring day. If my eyes do not play tricks on me - justin & d lady are flirting here. Thats why its d worse reaction video I have watched from justin. I have been following his reaction videos on bts songs before. Btw justin had always been jin biased in other bts songs he has reacted. But - yeah dont over react to his too many comments on Jin's expression. you should take note that this is a very emotional song and they all really feel this while singing. especially with the current situation of the world. this song is about missing someone and they miss us and being able to perform in person and they all really love performing in person and seeing us. they miss us and are emotional. there is nothing wrong with jin or any of them of them, they are just emotional.

I agree with you too. It's not that I dislike their reactions now but I miss his old proper reaction videos, those reactions had more serious and in depth discussion about each members vocal techniques which made me subscribe to his channel.
i agree too like with songs like this its like deep meaning and the jokes kinda felt rude in some way and like they didnt even talk about the techniques much just about the "squeeks" and thats not even the correct term for them and that was it i wish they spoke about the breathyness and how well it impacted the song and the how jhopes vocals were so smooth ect not saying he had a good nose ect which is true aha but not really relivent

Honestly, i was hoping for a better review🤷 i was really looking forward to see how you would react to this video because it made me cry. whenever you react on your own, you really dive deep, but the three parts of this reaction were honestly awful. No actual study of the vocals, you noticed one or two things and just talked about that the entire time, missing a TON just because your not paying attention, and when you laughed at jin during an emotional song that you don't understand, that got my blood boiling a little.
Lala seems like a great person and is a great singer, but she is a distraction. She doesnt know them, nor does she seem like she cares or is impresses in anyway. i wont watch anymore reactions with her in them because there is no real content in them. ( Not that you need my one veiw anyway) but this is kinda what your entire comment section looks like rn. Hope your future reviews are a little more like a real reaction or review rather and a hangout with your hot friend.

spring day is a deeply personal song for both bts and army... it is the longest charting song on the too 100 melon chart (a korean music chart) with 189 consecutive weeks. it's a song about grief and loss, with many speculating it alluding to the sewol ferry tragedy (which i believe to be true as well).
all of the boys get emotional with this song, and i've noticed they've been performing it a lot this year (and the last time they performed it was the 2017 korean award show season), which i can only attribute to the situation the pandemic has put us all through. they miss us, and they miss performing. we miss them; we miss a sense of normality. spring day is heartbreaking but a reminder that this will pass, and we'll see each other again.

this song was very audibly sad and that's reflected by their somewhat somber expressions. jin was on the right track with the overall mood of the song.
I understand you don't know the backstory of the song. But even then commenting and judging Jin's expressions was not nice. It kind of pissed me off. It was pretty evident he was emotional. And one more thing, no one told them to cry. The song's meaning in itself is very sad. And they have told countless of times how much spring day means to them. They've been singing it all throughout this year to tell us how much they miss us and that we should not lose hope cause better days are coming. I'd really appreciate if you'd learn more about the lyrics and meaning of their songs before reacting to them

BTS don't just sing when they perform. They communicate. The mood is not just because it is a "sad song", but because they are singing every word in the lyrics with all their hearts. They don't just match the mood to their songs to make it effective. It is their sincerity that makes it effective.
All of their vocals are so beautifully different. Jimin's vocals are so incredibly unique and the way he can adapt to suit any song just blows my mind - he really stood out to me.
we dont know how jin feels or about his mental state so we cant judge that but the song is extremely sad and this song is very loved in Korea, literally the song that never left the charts since its release and the highest charting song on korean charts in history. spring day is called queen of bts songs.

I think this is definitely one of those moments where you have to understand the artist rather than the singing. This is a very emotional song for Jin and the rest of BTS. It is also one of jins favorite songs. He might have seemed “lackluster” to you but to army he’s just getting into the song and internalizing. He’s okay

At 6:40 I think Jin is trying to hold back his tears he always did that when he's emotional,he is the one who doesn't want to show his tears so he looks everywhere to avoid the camera and he always gets emotional during spring day performances.
It would be weird for them to be smiling and laughing for this song. Its a heartbreaking song, about loss and the MV holds a deep meaning to a national tragedy. Jin, along with the others were just feeling the lyrics. I dont think Jin was "over it".

I am Korean and this song is about Sewol Ferry and all the student who died on that ferry.
Sewol ferry is a traumatizing experience to Koreans and i remember that I couldnt stop crying that day and the whole week
when the students last videos or voice messages to their family were aired on tv.
Jungkook is the same age with the students who died that day on their school trip.
I am pretty sure this tragedy hit bts members as hard as it hit me.
It wasnt a coincidence Koreans managed to impeach the president who just sat on her hands watching those kids getting drowned.
It was that traumatizing event to Koreans and korean society.
Also, spring day lyric suits current situation very well.
Bts members miss their fans badly and want to communicate with them through concerts.

The vocal cry makes me appreciate more about this song. The way Jimin sing makes the difference in the song in my opinion. The song becomes more emotional when I hear his vocal cry. The cry at the end of a line makes me really appreciate it more considering Jimin is a man. While Jungkook is using vocal fry I guess? His voice becomes raspy. I think Justin underestimated the viewers reaction when he made those flippant comments. One of the many reasons why ARMY are so protective of the boys is their sincerity. And so, when you poke fun at them, we’re not likely to agree with you. ESPECIALLY with a song like Spring day. And we know they’re not acting on purpose as they often wear their hearts on their sleeve. So for example, the ‘RUclips originals’ spring day performance, Jin was quite light hearted. But for the recent BangBang con performance of spring day, he was very emotional at the end. When you react and laugh AT them (not with them) the BTS fans aren’t going to enjoy your video as much.

Trust me you don’t have to worry about Jin. Spring day is an emotional song and like always he is putting his heart and soul into the emotions which is why he along with the rest of the guys gave us an amazing performance. They always embody every song perfectly and it isn’t always necessary for someone to outwardly show you the emotions. Sometimes you gotta just feel it nd I definately can. Jin did an awsome job just like the rest of them.
Jin's always been able to convey emotions through his whole body, not just his voice-- he's an Acting Major Grad after all. So of course he wasn't "spaced out" or heart-broken over a personal love story or anything. Even if he had been, he wouldn't have shown it. He's too professional for that!
That he was why it was OK to zoom in on him when he was not singing, yet it was his voice in the backtracks "Oh-oh-oh-oh," usually played at the end of the song.
