Today I am brush painting on a canvas board. My original plan for her was to finish painting the bird. However, my daughter thinks I should keep it the way it is. Is this just part one? What are your thoughts?

I’m of two minds on whether you should finish the bird or not….it is beautiful just as it is and it does let the viewer fill in the blanks on their own. But then….a finished bird would be beautiful too. I think I’m doing to vote leave it as is. ugh sooo hard.

Michelle, this is a beautiful piece. Love how you created the flowers and made a sweet little perch for your bird. She is gorgeous❤ just as she is…though I am torn. I don’t think I would “finish” her but maybe a few more lowlights as a compromise…but on the other hand? It’s a dilemma for me too😅😂. Good luck 🍀

Loved watching you paint the lovely flowers today Michelle...interesting that she would like the ghostly figure of the bird...that's what I thought as I first saw her today before you said anything and I read your description...was looking at her and felt she was melting into the painting...she does look lovely and the painting can be done but I just wonder if she just needs an eye painted...without the eye I think she's just a ghost cause if you take all the white away she just disappears ...I think I'm crazy now what do you think...am I nuts??

@@royalriverart I hear you, yes a little color, and the eye😆...she is lovely Michelle...I love everything you do...she reminds me of a baby bird, like when they puff their feathers up...very lovely...I think your daughter would agree to that without a fuss🥰
What else were you planning to do to it? I think it looks great, but wasn’t sure what you would be adding if you do a part 2.
