I wish there would be a: "Buy a Display" option for every box where you can buy a whole box with all 180 packs for 3-5 million gold with some down sides like: that you can't get glossy or prismatic cards and you can just buy every box only just once this way, with that option, to make this game more f2p friendly and giving gold the purpose to build some decks more easily.
Best feeling in tbe world lemme tell ya, untill...you get that itch to buy the latest box even if you dint really need a new deck or it has no staple😂😂😂
I'll be honest, the only other use for gold when you don't feel like buying crap cards from the trader (or when you can't because stupid multi cost BS) it's useful to buy the crystals that you can use during NPC duels, for example hoarding the EXP boost crystals for power levelling that new character you like for their lvl reward cards and the like.
Imagine hold on the box chip just to konamai once deleted them....also i used a dream ticket on madolche puddingcess just to find put she was in the box chips the whole time.... Yeah im kinda cursed in this stuff and have many story worse than this
Bro im still pissed that they removed all of the Duel Quizzes that gave gems. There needs to be a system for newer players to get multiple decent decks easily.
I had two accounts, my old main (I started playing after the first Pegasus unlock event) that got completly lost in time since I couldn't care less to play in a mobile device. And the "new" account (Which was made around 3-2 years ago) where I my objective was to build Odd Eyes as a F2P (before they basically gave all the cards for free). As someone who has been playing this long, I can't get out, I am already too deep and need to farm my characters for the next minibox and build Zombie 💀💀💀
For some reason, i hate playing duelink. Is not because they expensive, its because they too many pop up promotion ads in game event, boxes, etc and fucking unskippable dialogues. i only want to get weekly bonuses but these stuff was bugging me. Eventhough masterduel intro lore on the start screen bug me too, but not were near as duelinks popup ads. Its really held us as a player to stay along with the game

Unless you pay or alt account your way to the top”* 😤 I enjoyed this game and managed to KoG with HERO once but it's just not for me. I also met veterans who have been playing since day one basically, they have a big advantage because they are ahead of time whenever Konami drops a new box. Jumping from meta to meta because their resources are ridiculously high, and/or they simply pay. I see Duel Links more of a business instead of a game. I just recently started playing this game again, and I'm happily piloting a really solid suship deck now. I have a few questions. 1: i heard box chips have a limited time they can be used, is that true? 2: how often do dream tickets get given out? 3: how do you unlock 8 extra deck slots? Im stuck at 7. 4: what are the best npc duelists to grind early on? 5: I got really lucky pulling from the suship/shaddoll/ra pack and ended up with most of the UR i need for a Ra deck, should I commit to building it? 6: when is converting cards a good idea?
1. Box chips have unlimited time now and go up to the 14th speed boxes. use them to get cosmic cyclones and the forbidden quick play spells. Typhoon and book of moon I would get with dream tickets. 2. Dream tickets are often given at special events. We have 2 or maybe 3 now from the new world, the new year and 1 coming up in February for 25th anniversary. Maybe it'll be another one for worlds championship in june. Mostly they are 4 or 5 per year. 3. I think there's a mission for it, the latest one waz perform 100 link summons. 4. The vagabond, always use a blue crystal for 1.5 exp. 5. Ra's deck its just a meme deck at this point. With 1 of each you can already play the deck, I wouldn't invest on the other ones. If you want a more competitive deck I would go for the Mayakashi and Shiranui box, bc the next mini box comes in a few days with great zombie support. Mayakashi's links are in the immortal Phoenix box and Shiranui's link would come in the next,t minibox.

I just need 2 painful decision and generic extra deck stuff for suship to be as good as it can be, grabbed my 3 for chalice and cosmic already and I got the bundle for chalice and lance so I have one of those too, my early dream tickets got unicorn and the XYZ dragon everyone uses, and I got a IDP which was really nice too, so I've got a good start towards generic URs. Really good to know on box chips, thx, and really? There aren't any good NPC's to grind? I already did a bit on soulburner to try and get Salamangreat (is this deck good enough to use dream tickets to finish? I have most of what I need but the stuff I still want is really scattered in the boxes) I also did a bit of googling and managed to get my solfachord deck into a playable state yesterday with United pendulums and all that. So I'm sitting on two playable decks now in around my first two weeks. Followed a F2P starter guide and it seems to be paying off, but it didn't cover a lot of the general game knowledge, so thanks for sharing.
6. I like to go by a rule when I exceed 3 copies in any rarity (prismatic, glossy, or normal), I dismantle so I always have at most 3 cards. If you don't care about glossy or prismatic cards, feel free to convert down to 3 copies of a card since you can't use any more in a deck. This can be useful for getting UR and SR gems since in events, a lot of times you will have a lot of UR cards charcateristic for that event

Too much useless currency in DL right now : -Coins,have millions of that but the place to use this very limited,hopefully someday we can use for older box -Keys,have ten of thousands for this item but cant auto gate except for event char(but using special items for this) and manually leveling using gates really tiring and boring -R jewels,i dont even have words for this item

If you like yugioh simulator and modern yugioh you play master duel but if you like yugioh but also the anime and don't like the fast 2 turn 30 min modern game you play Duel links and I rather duel links anyway and any day over master duel
About gaining 50 gems for using character tickets when you have all characters... The same happens for skill tickets, if you have all skills, it converts into 50 gems, and since rush and speed have different tickets, if you get all the speed skills, speed tickets will give you 50 gems, while if you have all the rush skills, rush tickets will give you 50 gems. Which is why i was so happy when they gave us more rush skill tickets as lvl ups, since thats just +50 gems per character.
You can get them as event rewards, Duel campaign rewards and 10 box chips can be bought from the trader ex during some events for 100 ex orbs, Only once per event though. If they're available at all, As some events seem to not have that option.
You can get some by leveling Zexal characters. Also, sometimes the shop has a special offer with the latest packs + 100 box chips (can be bought with gems).
you forgot the craziest jewel, "R Jewel" whenever you finished an event, the game give you R jewel for extra reward, as a player who already play this game for 3 years, my R jewels finally maxed out, and everytime i get new one it's converted to gold, where i already get 3 copies of everything in trader, so what to do with these maxed out r jewels? i dunno, i still asking this question to myself

I think the color of gate keys for character depend on the attribute of monsters that character mainly use, not by name or that character color
The copious cyclone of currencies the central reason I just can't suffer through playing this game.
I like to get the Cyberse Deck with my gems. Gives me some good boys that build up tributes and materials for missions.

Yeah this game has way too many currencies, and you have either not enough, or a comically large amount
