I'm still holding to the hope that someday my fav cartoon will come back . I've heard rumors last year that the creator is working on a new season , idk if it's true but I SURELY HOPE IT IS
I want to correct one thing, it was relatively recently confirmed there was no lawsuit between 4kids and ChaoticTCG. Apparently it was mainly the 2008 recession that killed the game
Hey thanks for the update I'm only human and I'll get stuff wrong, so thanks for the new knowledge I'll do better about getting my facts right for the next video
The Chaotic ip has reverted back to the creator and the publishing is with a company that handles production and media so there is potential for it to return
This is a really well-made video. Many points that I agree with, and some I'm more meh on. Beyond the fact that they're both tcgs, chaotic felt less like yugioh and more like if d&d had a card game (stats, races, attacks to cast). However, I really do agree that if it were released today, or even late last decade, it could really contend with so many popular games on the market today, especially if they managed to work on a proper pc version with a phone app. Just imagine opening a pack with a rare card, and loading that exact card into the app to start playing online with it immediately. There were a few moments a few years ago where it seemed like they were trying to gauge interest, but the creators never followed up on it. I really do hope they decide to give it a shot because with how much the market has changed, I think it could really thrive, especially with how much nostalgia might fuel it. Hell, just seeing this video js making want to break out my old deck again. Thanks for making a video about this great game
The game wasn't honestly that complex compared to any other card game thing for a lot of kids at the time. It's actually really simple to the point of feeling autopiloty. The actual issue with it was that it was annoying to play. You can play Pokemon with cards and dice, YGO with cards and keeping track of LP in your head, but Chaotic had you tracking Mugic counters, Energy, the Stats, while also having the creatures take up alot of space, and games dragged out way longer than the others because, for some reason, in the phsyical card game they heal after every battle. When youre kid trying to play a thing during lunch, Chaotic was basically not an option.
I think that goes even further to show that they tried too much too soon. Nowadays, they could make a scanner app for kids to put their decks into and they could easily play a game or two during lunch.
Okay, first off. Amazing work on this video. tbh i love the show still to this day. the later season with the animation change was a bit meh for me. But I think a game EXACTLY like the show would be great. you go around fighting monsters hoping to scan them, that you later bring to a pvp arena with multiple maps that boost your stats or lowers them. IE: A ground terrain giving Maxor a ground boost making his ground wave bigger. stuff like that would be great. integrating MUGIX as an ultimate esque ability. I think with how good and how intricate a game like marvel rivals is. This would be very possible. Sry english not first language.
@Remyael like, I was curious about this random ass card game that just sat untouched by everyone every time I went in. They also funnily enough had a redakai starter set.
I've been meaning to try duel masters but I'm scared of getting flood gated to death lol or some other modern Yu-Gi-Oh things that didn't exist before 5Ds end like I'm not trying to learn pendulum summoning lol
@@Remyael could you do a redesign of it? I honestly thought it did it's job, as far as being recognizable from a distance ( it's how I occasionally find chaotic stuff when I'm not looking at it) but I will admit that's about it, it's not bad in my opinion but i guess it's just functional.
Yeah I did for the first 5 of the video I did with this style, but unfortunately there's not enough hours in the day to do this consistently lol, so I found out there was Adobe character animator so I decided to working with that, it made it so much easier
It failed in the non traditional sense where it didn't actually attract people to play League of Legends long-term as a show itself it did perfectly fine it's an amazing show
Hey first thanks for the comments and getting that far in the video it means a lot that you took the time to watch it, and 2nd i was talking about mtg arena which came out way after chaotic being sunsetted hope that brings some clarity
Supposedely a new iteration was aupposed to be revealed in October, but neverr came...
Ohhh that would have been so cool

Oh what's the show?

That would be so cool I would love a digital client

Fully agree, a modern digital client would go crazy with the chaotic gameplay, also thanks hope to keep getting better on my videos
@Remyael yeah, it really would. And keep it up, man. Journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step

That's a very solid point

Hey thanks for the comments it means a lot, and I'd love it the show was like the card game or even better the card game is like the show
Mannn you gotta cover magi nation next no one talks about that show
Mannnnnn. That name is a throwback do you remember eon kid
Both of those shows were my childhood also thanks for always commenting it means a lot
There was a small period of time when a card shop still had boxes chaotic (around 2016).
Oh wow thanks for the info

Yoooooo redakai is a blast from the past
Duel masters tho 👁️

Speaking as a graphic designer, I never really liked the Chaotic logo.
My degree is in graphic design also, and yeah it could 10000% use a redesign

idk if you have the mouthflaps on your avatar automated, but if not i respect the hustle cuz that gets so annoying lol

Mtg did an online card game first by a lot
