Hey Cameron I’ve been following you for some time! Great job knocking out your goals and when BG3 came out it happens lol but I hope this year you hit your goals! Hopefully we get a video soon!
Started watching to learn about your WGU experience although I’m not looking to go for tech. Looking forward to an update on your goals & dating life 🤣
Cameron I feel your pain on the crashed hard drive piece! I had a game that I created, fully completed story mode and all in RPG Maker VX before that PC crashed. That experienced also led me to dabble in Ruby, and I'm learning Python now via WGU.
great, man! thank you a lot for sharing! good luck❤ I have somewhat similar life iteration - and somewhat similar goals) I work in Operations retail - and allowing currently focusing on my passion - which is Virtual Machines under Debian and just terminal, Scripting for ops automation in Python, process mining, robotics. All them are both practical enhancement to my career and at the same time passions - a finally let myself to focus! and all them are also linked😊
I started the BSCSIA program the exact same month as you but with much further to go, I'm now working on my capstone getting ready to graduate! Thanks for your videos, I often watched them heading into each class for insight/motivation . Hope to see a life update from you, best wishes!
Wow, our goals are in reverse. My last year’s goal was exactly yours right now. My 2024 is to pursue the BSCSIA. I highly recommend the PNPT. It was a fun exam, frustrating at some points, but gained a lot of knowledge. Good luck on your journey!
Welp! Six months later, I've completed the BSCSIA at WGU! I still have capstone left, but everything else is done! I plan to start the MSCSIA in September. I'm studying the PMP now, and I plan to take the PSM II in couple months. While you're focusing a lot on cybersecurity, I'm mainly focusing on Project Management. I'm also debating about switching back to Linux as a desktop. I started with Linux WAAAAYYY back in 2002 with Lindows and Mandrake. The only reason I keep Windows is for gaming, so I need to setup one computer and test out the games I play. I'm leaning towards Mint or Pop. I don't feel like tweaking things on my desktop anymore.
I have some wisdom to share. If you want to learn coding, spend a few weeks on the basics, but then focus on applications to subjects that interest you. For example you might pair programming with your interest in pen-testing/cybersecurity in general. This makes studying multiple subjects efficient and keeps knowledge more tightly coupled. But the biggest benefit seems to be motivation/tying this to knowledge that you already have. I think I'm starting to realize this in my own career and learning objectives. This doesn't just apply to programming. It also applies to other skills like applied mathematics.
I went through a period of losing weight and trying to date. If I may be so bold as to offer advice, find something active that you can do for fun and also with a date. I got (back) into rock climbing after about a 10 year hiatus. My intention wasn't really to find someone to date and climb with, but I was getting in shape, feeling good, climbing often. Then I found someone into climbing who was looking to date (online dating, don't knock it, just be aware it can be a cesspool). We had a good relationship for a while, and I stayed active and healthy unlike a lot of guys who end up just taking dates to movies and dinner then drop their active hobby, gain back weight. I lost about 45 pounds in less than a year without really trying that much. I cut sugar and carbs way back and told myself I could eat all the meat and veggies I wanted. Worked great. That first relationship didn't last, but I did introduce my now wife to climbing as well as the low-stress approach to staying fit. We're expecting our second baby now :D I started watching you when you first started your journey with SDC, Sophia, and WGU because I wanted to do the same thing (J Madakor baby, haha). My objective was/is to change my career, however. I've finally started (after taking a job that required me to postpone only to be laid off), and you've been a huge influence, inspiration, and guide. Thank you for keeping the channel up and being an awesome human! About to take my 3rd proctored exam and start my 4th class; I've take my first 2 at SDC, and one at Sophia.
45 pounds is amazing, and yeah you're right. In the past, cutting back on candy and energy drinks definitely helped with my weight. Congrats on the baby too! I know you'll do great at WGU. Good luck!
@@Fred-dc6hh First I emailed graduation@wgu.edu. I got an auto-reply email saying they'll reply within 3-5 business days, but they didn't, so I called student services and had them transfer me to the records department where I talked to someone about the issue. I was told the issue was still being investigated, but they would escalate it as a high priority. Eventually I got email saying it was fixed and they gave me another copy of my transcript. In total, it took them about 2 weeks to fix the issue (from March 3rd to March 18)
Are you an introvert? I see myself so much in your stories lol. I WFH and can't be bothered with dating despite being totally eligible on paper. It's introversion, I just enjoy my own company more than chancing it with the company of a dating app date. Something I need to work on...
I'm definitely an introvert and I enjoy my own company, but I know I shouldn't exclusively keep to myself. I need to force myself to at least occasionally interact with people. Baby steps I guess 😅
Hello!! Wow, it has been 9 months since your last video. I wanted to thank you. You have set the path for me to have an understanding of how to use and benefit from Studycom/Sophia I do have one question. Recently, Apple has released the M4 Ipad Pro. Do you think Ai would be able to use this tablet for Sophia and studycom before actually enrolling in college?
Hope you're well man! I used to watch your stuff a lot. This year's been crazy. Hope you've had some calm.
How's the progress so far for this year? Its been 4 months since this video has posted and I would love to hear how your year has started off.
Glad to see you hyped for the future! You are very relatable, ups and downs inclusive.

Update waiting 😊
need an update! 😊
Did your transcripts get fixed? Is there an update to that video?
I haven't made an update video for that yet, but yes. I had to put in a ticket and call them, but they eventually fixed it.
@@CameronEvolved who/where did you put in a ticket? Did you just email the learner records dept? My transfer credit #s are wrong too
