Most weapons that are the best looking and most exciting are from the gem store. but today we look at some weapons that are good looking and interesting that can be easily acquired!

this is such good advice - something that I also realized recently like after 3 years of playing lololol I was doing map completion while helping a new player friend, and I realized that the heart vendor from the later maps (like sparkly etc) actually had some exclusive armor skins. back when I played initially, I'd complete the heart n ignore the vendor completely cuz I was hoarding karma for "just in case" and I thought the vendors just sell bad foods like the ones on starter maps. needless to say - I was wrong. now my goal is to revisit the heart vendor I completed on my new map completion chara to buy whatever skin I dont have, then from now on every heart I complete, must check what they sell after.

My favorite of these Karma armors is the Light Stately set. I was completing Sparkfly Fen and got excited collecting all 6 pieces.
I've been doing the same for map comp and checking if I don't have any skins or collectibles.

Personally, I don't like the vast majority of shop items and they're such a limited selection that I don't bother looking at them. If you want some really cool weapon skins for free (which is always nice) then head to the trading post with about 50 gold minimum and go down to skins and weapon skins. From there, you'll see a plethora of styles and sets with special effects, visual appearances, and overall higher quality than most of the weapons you get in the shop. Of course, this requires you to buy the game instead of playing on a trial, but if you're looking at the shop, you'll have already gotten the game.
5:23 i recommend doing legendary bounties for these - someone is always doing a run over and over, sometimes hours at a time. With that said, you only get the chest once a day from each boss but still get drops, except for the three headed dragon for some reason which always has its chest spawn
I just did the Caladbolg "Questline" and discovered that I like that aspect of gameplay, kind of like a scavenger hunt, so I'll probably go after those 3 weapons that have the same style of acquisition. That Entropy is a must have for me as well, thanks for making this video!
The 3 weapons in question have achievements very similar to the Caladbolg achievement! It’s just lest costly!
And those 3 are exotics i think beserkers stats... caladbolg weapons are free stats ascended weapons...
personaly i like the caladbolg skins and the fact that they are easy and cheap to get... so much i made a caladbolg on about 20 chars.
And i kinda liked the ending of HoT
Can you make the actual weapon on more than one character? I know you can change the form with unbound magic, but I can have all of my characters with an actual weapon, not just the skin? @@H.S.D.81
Important note for anyone who does the Caladbolg stuff - you don't have to decide on one of the skins, instead you can exchange one Caladbolg version for another at the guy once you get the item. It costs a bit, don't remember what exactly, but you can switch through all the available versions of Caladbolg and therefore unlock all skins before settling on the one that you actually want to use.

The shattered weapon skins released along with SoTo are very nice too! And majority are 30 - 50 silver! I had the Modnir staff many years ago when I was a new player :)
Evan I suggest you do a tier list for some of the weapons. It'll be great to see how your community sees what works well with certain professions
Very nice video concept! I would love if you would continue this with armor and backpieces, also you could do medium and high price categories for those who don’t really care about the gold but more about the fashion!
small one you missed for guns is the charrzooka. absolutely HUGE gun for a small amount of silver on trading post

The chaos set and crimson asssassin are my favorite designs. Most festival or holiday events have some really beautiful limited skins most of the time you can only get 3 or 4 each festival because it goes by how many times you did the weeklies or multiple dailies in a row
Loved this video, and your other one on armor skins. A good tip I came across was you can tick the filter in BLTC for "locked" items, which will filter out any you've already unlocked. Really handy for finding new weapons, armor, dyes, mini's etc.
One of my favorite sets are the weapons that look like the guardian summons, if you get all the skins you'll get a special back item. Also the ones that look like the elementalist conjured weapons are nice.

2 of my favorite cheap skins you can buy from the TP is 'Gate of heaven' (Greatsword, ~1g on TP) and 'Crucible' (Sword, ~90s on TP), the reason I like them so much is because they have a sheath when stowed. For that extra realism.
Kobalt was my first skin on my guardian indeed, until I formed me an own weapon. 😂
personally one of the best greatsword skins is in soto its Strength of the Unseen super easy collection and has a similar feel to the legendary gen 2 greatsword with a very djin art style and draw effect
appreciate the guide, had no clue some of those existed and the only gamemode i'm playing is fashion wars so those will come in handy
Im pretty sure they did a design a weapon in GW1 too, pretty cool to see them do it in this one as well

3:22 *lesser vision crystal* not everyone needs to be lv500 armorsmith/tailor/leatherworker to get this. you can either simply buy it from Lyhr in SOTO, the wizard's tower or with a bit of luck it drops from six different bags/containers. e.g. the bags you get by exchanging bloodstone dust/empyreal fragments/dragonite ore via the daily converter
I would NEVER recommend buying something from Lyhr. You pay him ectos so you dont need to level crafting (which is mostly cheaper than the ecto tax) and you will need the crafting level later anyway

Good advice. I suggest that players who are going to do map completion now, or sometime in the future, don’t buy items from the trading post until after you have finished the map completion and purchased all of the items that you don’t have skins unlocked for, from the heart vendors for karma. Just buy the cheapest version to unlock the skins and then after you finish map completion, you will know what skins are acquired from other ways. Buying skins from heart vendors for karma will save you lots of gold in the long run.
I love the focus skin from Butcher's Block, still one of the best early skins in the game.

HI can you tell me if you get the same items for expansions from steam and games website? Does the games website have bonus items? like level up to 80 and inventor add-on? does the steam site not have them?

It's from lunar new years, got added last time as reward from the annual achievement. Can get it again next year

Much harder to find weapons that actually look like you could fight with them. And be more likely to hurt your opponent than yourself. Bows are particularly bad, only a few would propel an arrow.
