In a month of unprecedented turmoil, Indian students faced a crisis that could have toppled governments elsewhere.
On May 5, the NEET exam was held for 24 lakh students across 4,750 centres in India. A month later, NEET results revealed chaos: 1,500 students were granted grace marks under dubious circumstances, and 67 students topped the exam compared to the usual 1-2. Shockingly, six of these toppers came from the same centre, raising suspicions.
Despite denials from the Education Minister about any paper leak, on June 18, petitions to cancel NEET surfaced. Shortly after, a 22-year-old NEET aspirant was arrested for possessing leaked questions. The scandal didn’t stop with NEET; within days, the UGC-NET and CSIR-UGC-NET exams were canceled due to integrity concerns, and NEET-PG was postponed.
The impact was felt nationwide, with students travelling hundreds of kilometres only to have their exams cancelled. The National Testing Agency (NTA), responsible for these exams, faced severe criticism for its mismanagement and lack of accountability. But sadly, this isn't an isolated incident. In the past seven years, over 70 cases of exam leaks have been reported, affecting millions of students and jeopardizing their futures. But the question is why isn't our country unable to conduct exams? What are the impacts of such failures on the students and the economy? And lastly, what can we do to solve this? Let's find out in this video.

I'm writing this comment on 3rd July, 2024, while still waiting for CUET-UG 2024. CUET-UG 2024 was conducted on May from 15 to 29, which means it is more than 1 month we are awaiting the results, we still don't have answer keys... We, the CUET-UG 2024 aspirations, are going through mental pressure. Please, Mohak dada, please look into the CUET-UG case too as it was shady too, mismanagement, omr sheets, timings, admit card delay, centers being shady, etc...

Atleast NEET aspirats know their marks in their exam but in JEE, students dont even know how much have they scored their exam. We need Transparency in these matters...

@@zexon7 Yes. At least in the old pen-and-paper days, we could mark our options on the question paper, so that when the answer key is released, we can have a rough estimate of our scores, which we can roughly corroborate with our expected scores.

India already has too many engineers if we give more free seats for mbbs then mbbs degree will loose its value like engineering degree. India needs more health care workers more than docters. Docters won't go to villages and small cities.

I appeared for CUET exam conducted by NTA which was a total mishap, 30th June was supposed to the date of CUET results declaration which unsurprisingly wasn't released.
Now I've missed out all the important private colleges due to the incompetence of NTA and Education Ministry.
Exactly. People think about numbers and scores, but even the timing is crucial to gain admissions into top universities before they close their windows.
Everybody is talking about neet , but nobody cares what cuet students then and now facing , there are hundreds and thousands of videos of specially teachers who raised their voices against nta mismanagement in cuet , like about TIME LOSS , admit cards , delhi center postpone , crashing website etc. but the point is who CARES🙁

Someone should also speak about the discrepancies of CUET UG exam. The mismanagement, the delay in results and no answer key till now . Our exam were done by 29 th may but no official updates regarding provisional answer key or exam results till today, 4th July .. this has delayed college admissions for 150+ uni in India including the biggest like the DU. A lot of students who were waiting for cuet results in order to plan backups or plan accordingly also are at risk… this is not even the tip of the iceberg.. plss someone speak against it

I am damn sure there must be some kind of controversy surrounding first attempt of JEE Mains as well. But due to the fact that NTA does not release marks, and the paper is CBT; not much proofs have been found.

I'm a JEE aspirant. No, I was not very serious or something like that but people in my center copied IN JEE MAINS exam. The chits checking for girls in the center is safe to say that it was close to none. I thought to take a drop year before giving JEE MAINS but seeing the scene I knew it was not worth it. People are saying that students will lose the trust in India education system it is safe for me to say that there is NOTHING to lose. The trust is already lost. I just hope my friends who gave NEET UG do not commit suicide. THIS IS THE SITUATION OF EDUCATION SYSTEM. I would not let my child go through this. I am positive that I'll move abroad if I wanna have kids.

Not only neet papers are leaked all of the entrance exams I've given this year have been leaked . My father was contacted by some agents who claimed to make me clear the exam with some amount of money . And they didn't tell him that it's the leaked paper instead they told him that they will make me practice some questions (obviously the leaked paper) so that I can understand the pattern of the question paper and solve it according to the pattern and score good marks.
NTA takes a lot of money from each aspirants on the name of exam conduction and even after that they can't conduct exams properly .. and students suffer

Just like that Assam guy, NET aspirants out here in Nagaland state too travelled on regional transport services through the rugged hilly terrains to reach their exam centres, wasting their time and resources just to realise that their exam was declared invalid the next day while on their way back to their districts early in the morning.... The damage and hardships that this paper leaks have caused is irreparable....
NTA conducts CUET UG which is a exam students give to get admission into the undergraduate courses in Central colleges... The result of this exam was to be released on 30th June but today is 4th July and there is no news and no response from NTA about the result... The students even don't know what to do after their boards examination right now after giving cuet so dedicatedly... I am one of them ..
This NEET exam was far from truth. Massive paper leaks have happened and just look at these year's NEET results 61 topper students who scored 720/720 for comparison if you add the toppers of all the years when NEET happened from 2015 to 2024 still the no will be far from 61 and thats just the tip of the iceberg rank inflation is ridiculously high now and cut off has increased significantly how can we prepare for such exams thats ridiculous

What about this so called CBI investigation on Arunachal pradesh civil service examination.
I was travelling from ernakulam in Kerala to vishakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh to attend the NEET PG exam. I was supposed to arrive there at 11 pm and got the news that exam was postponed around 9pm while I was still in the train. I had travelled a whole day around and around 1500km . I had booked overnight stays and didn't get a train back as the tickets where still in waiting list. Had to book flight tickets to come back. I lost a lot of money and time . The sad thing is I have to do the same thing again . They've not yet released the dates yet

I think they should take strictest actions against the paper leak mafias and also the judiciary should give judgment regarding the NTA about the grace marks and they should also make strict rules regarding thier exams like no extra marks/time should be given to the students and a strict surveillance during the exam.

My father is an engineer in Merchant Navy and we are from a middle class family living in west bengal. And he came home a few weeks ago(from Mumbai) and went back like 4 days ago as he had some exam today with some other 5-10 people,(i don't know the exact details) but i know the exam was really important for my father's next job or increase in salary/promotion was dependant on it. Today when my father reached the exam centre they said the exam is cancelled and he will be informed later for new dates( NOT EVEN A DAY AGO HE WAS INFORMED AFTER REACHING THE CENTRE ). Mind it that my father is already 45+ in age and we come from a middle class family. So much hassle and extra expences(travel to mumbai and return, time wasted in journey, staying cost, exam fees) my father did for nothing. My father was supposed to join again after 3 months after giving this exam, and now we don't even know when the exam will take place. And when my life wasn't screwed up enough my new college semester will start in a few weeks and then informed us to submit the fees...
Forgot to mention that my father has to stay like 11/12 months in other states for his job, and he planned on retiring in a few years but seems like the plans need to be changed becuase some incompetent exam conducting board coudn't inform earlier that exam are going to be cancelled

I think that neet would also have been made a cbt (computet based test)
But the issue is that there are not enough (certified)computers in india and even though there may be a lot of comouters in private schools or colleges but they cant be used as the same paper issue will occur
For example- The jee mains which was given by approx 13-14 lakh students was conducted in 12 sessions because there werent enough computers in certified locations
And still in jee mains january session a huge mishap happened where the cutoff for different session papers was so different and for every session different people give the exam which means that there is probability that a lot of good students are sitting in one session making it more competitive
And for every session a different paper has to be made
Even the gaokao exam in china is paper based and not cbt
Hence concluding my point that cbt exam for neet ug is very inefficient

Sir, please raise the issue on the latest guidelines by RCI for clinical psychologists, as it affects careers of many more students like me who have opted for non-psychology subjects in graduation and currently pursuing MA in Psychology with specialization in Clinical Psychology that too from IGNOU. The new guidelines are too rigid, and it leaves those students in a very difficult position who took different subjects in 11th-12th and graduation in parents' and peer' pressure and later on are willing to pursue the subject of their choice. They cannot do it now. And as already there was already a great shortage of clinical psychologists in India (0.07 Clinical Psychologists over a 100,000 of population in India), now the new guidelines have widened the gap even more.
Such coincidence also happened in mp patwari exam where 7/10 topper comes from same college

Hope someone talks about cuet too. We also had an absolutely crappy experience. Kids' papers of 60 mins taken away in 10. Exams cancelled 12 hours prior. No admit card till late night. Constantly changing centres sometimes so far off. Computer not recognizing face, forcing children to fill malpractice forms, shoddy facilities in some places etc. Etc.
Delayed our results too! Other universities are closing up.

No,UGC NET was pen and paper till 2018. It was converted to computer in the 2018 December exam. You are talking the opposite.

@mohak_mangal there is mistake in video when you talk about UGC NET exam. Till July 2018 UGC NET was conducted offline by CBSE. From December 2018 NTA conducted the same exam online mode till December 2023 and surprisingly in June 2024 NTA conducted UGC NET exam offline after 5 yrs of conducting it online.
UGC NET exam
Till July2018 - Offline
Dec2018- Dec2023 - Online mode
June 2024 - Offline mode.

Correction 13:13 the marks given based on old textbook were not grace marks.
Those were bonus marks given due to a controversial question.
The matter of grace marks is different.

We're all burnt out and depressed; I got 96.2% in PCM Cs in class 12 CBSE boards, I still have to take a drop... I got 27th s1 (jan attempt) in jee and 6th s2 (april attempt), at around 150 marks in both shifts i got 90.6 and 94.2%ile respectively (usually it's close to 97-98). My confidence had been wrecked and I didn't study for jee adv. I gave KCET (Karnataka common entrance test) and it too had a discrepancy; A week after the exam 39 questions were deemed out of syllabus and were removed-> i wasted a lot of my time on those questions. In the end i got 5.5k rank in that entrance which is good for electronics branches in top colleges but I've been studying CS since i was 14. On top of that KCET exam takes 50% boards marks which is very unfair for CBSE students because KSEAB board students get 2-3 board attempts and have close to full scores. I had 286/300 in PCM and yet I feel like that weighed me down because all my friends that studied in PUC schools had 290+ marks. I'm tired... I don't have the courage to take my life nor the energy to repeat this process all over again. My father thinks that I didn't study properly and that's why I got into this situation....

Alakh pandey sir ka coaching me bhi 720 marks hai. Unhone khud bataya ki uska grace marks hai. And kept on opposing grace marks from 1st till last.

RUclips, Meta, Google, etc have their autonomous working systems, they do not care about any country's government.😂😂 They all work individually. Moreover, all of these use AI to track the content/comments/ad that's being posted on their platform and they remove them if anything goes against their policy. I bet you don't know this!!
I was at a hotel far away from home, at 10pm on 22nd they cancelled NEET PG entrance to be held next morning (23rd), only about 10 hrs before starting time. The news was first in the media before any official announcement. The reason given was that this is only for a "precaution", but everyone knows they're just protecting whoever they caught by not revealing details. As of today (3 july) nobody knows when the exam will be conducted, they first said date will be announced by this tuesday, but on tuesday they announced it's not ready yet. Everyday on twitter people make up new fake date of exam, the candidates (who are not just students, these are doctors) are waiting anxiously for exam, many resigned from job temporarily for this, many have arranged other life events around this exam.
This govt has failed to maintain any kind of credibility. All institutions of the nation have been destroyed in the last 10 years.
