This story hit hard. Christie did such a good job depicting that inexplicable anger and stress during Anduin's episodes. I feel this is some of the BEST writing for Anduin I've seen in a long, long time.

This story was great, and it made me realize how much more important the "I trust you" from Thrall in the cinematic meant to him.

I genuinely feel awful for Anduin. I know people like to meme on him, but i honestly think this is not an Anduin problem, but a story telling problem. Most people only saw him visit Sylvanis and we get a hint of him being afraid of being a monster. In the cinematic where Thrall finds him in Silithus, he says, "I have no light, not after what ive seen, not after what ive done."
Then TELL US Blizz! Help us understand why this has been so hard for him. We saw a few moments when he was mind controlled, but other than that, I dunno.
This was a difficult read. I grew up in a farming community. And I've dealt with PTSD.

You sure make this sound good, given your criticisms of Golden's writing. Please keep in mind that this video -- and the engagement you gain from it -- would not exist without her writing.
My criticisms of her writing are subjective. I have NEVER said that she's a bad writer, only that I am not a fan of her writing style. Which is my right as a consumer to have personal fav authors.
You can both criticize a writer and enjoy a couple of their works and not others, all or nothing praise is antithesis to true art imo

Normalise your audio, its up and down up and down.
I'm not hearing it and I have listened to the normal version, the online version on 3 different browsers. The Audio comes out as being perfectly balanced. Can you tell me where this happens?
@@TheAccolonn it only happens like 2 or 3 times when it sounds like you're shifting in your chair or scratching your nose or something, it's no big deal. Great read and great story.
i hate anduin.. so soy so bad.. a king does not just leavvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeee
He does if he truly believes himself to be nothing but a threat to everyone's lives. That's his view, that he's saving everyone by leaving.
Absolutely beautiful and heart-breaking story. Also really well read again! You need to voice some audio books - such a great voice for it.
