- Governor Green’s signature on HB 2404 and SB 1035 is said to be the largest tax cut in state history and tax exemption for medical services aimed to provide significant tax relief for working families.

The legislature held many hearings with SB1035 having a date of December 2023 for implementation, including the Conference Committee meeting. Someone pushed the implementation of the removal of the GET on Healthcare back to January 2026! Meaning, folks injured by the Lahaina fire WILL STILL be taxed on their injuries for the next two years! Unreal! Who did this and why?
Do not claim to be implementing a tax cut when you are delaying the tax cut by 3 years!
"Historic tax relief" for the HISTORIC TAXES imposed on us by DEMOCRAPS 50 YEARS AGO. Now they want CREDIT for UNDOING THEIR BS!
Legislature can always reverse it if they need money later on. But good for now lol.

Cut the size of government (aka government spending) by 25% by 2025, an additional 26% by 2026, another 27% by 2027, and 28% of the remnant government by 2028. Boom. You're welcome.
And by 2031 - food, rent, gas will have $3400 a year or more !!

Lol. They acting they doing us a huge favor. Reminds of Liberty House when they had everything on sale at 25% but everything was marked up 110%. 😅
With the Japanese yen so weak against the dollar I’m not sure tourist from Japan will even visit Hawaii with a tax added to their expenses.
