If you want to keep using that refrigerator compressor as an air compressor, you'll need to change the oil. Refrigerant oils turn acidic when exposed to moisture (humidity). So drain the factory oil out through the suction line and refill it with the same amount of standard air compressor oil. That is, of course, unless you want to blow it up.
