3 years on and still an amazing tune to master and play. Just revisiting this one on this Thursday night and to anyone out there who wants to learn the fiddle after 50...pick it up!!!!!!! It will be the best thing you will ever do. Mr Peak will lead the way I assure you.
Thank you ,I'm 70 yes old & learning ; explaining slowly & patiencely , is so helpful , I notice your violin looks like a hopf & I noticed you have a paper clip on your bridge ? You're really a great teacher , you could teacher@ a music school ; thanks moe
There is only one word for this Mr Peak.....AWESOME!! I've been practicing this for a while and once you start this tune it's very difficult to stop. Each time you're trying to get a little faster. Improving your technique. It's addictive!! I LOVE IT!! Thank you for the lessons as always.
This tune is a slow burner imo. In other words, it can take a while to get the hang of playing it, unless you are one of these amazing youngsters who seem to litter youtube and can play in a jawdropping manner. That definitely counts me out, haha
@@peakfiddler Yes I totally agree, it certainly takes a lot of practice. I am a late starter, definitely not a youngster and I am yet to play in a jaw dropping manner. So that definitely counts me out too!! Although Mr Peak, you are a mighty fine player and a mighty fine Teacher!
Yet another fantastic job, well done sir ! Had already gone though the Julia Delaney lesson, so the "one finger on two strings" of D section has not been too much of a problem...memorizing the various part (am too lazy and slow to read music, unfortunately...or maybe not ?) has taken a little longer, though...
Thankyou, I have included more about this is other instructional video as well. Here is my playlist link, which may be of some assistance. Merci, j'ai inclus plus à propos de ceci est une autre vidéo pédagogique. Voici le lien de ma liste de lecture, qui peut être utile. ruclips.net/p/PLOqlrci5S1cP_YzQKmrGoXaWNOE-slpkv
