We were given a rabies tag for my dog at checkout. When we told them that she just had that shot 3 months ago they took the tag back and said the front desk messed up and that they didn’t give her the rabies vaxx. They always give shots without the owner present. I’m wondering how the front desk could pass out tags without vaccination since the tag numbers are recorded on the vaxx certificate. My question: do you think they may have given my dog the vaxx mistakenly? The shot was also on the bill. I’m in SC.
@jennerjudice9591 if the needle is under the skin it's harder to aspirate. If the needle went through the skin, when you aspirate it pulls back super easy.

Pull back to make sure you're not getting any blood not air.
Yes check for blood. But also check for air, that means you went through the skin.
How do I know if I have air in the seringe

I assume then it is legal in your state for a CVT to give a Rabies vaccine?
