Having a channel called vacuum wars, your floors must look impeccable the whole time!
The rug avoid feature explains why it goes forward, backs up and then sprays. That keeps it from spraying an area it hasn't checked out yet.
Brilliant, I'm sure you are right.
Or your really expensive speakers.
It also does it for walls so that it doesn’t end up spraying your walls with water.
@@KevlarCondom lol
Whoa so I'm not weird for watching these vacuum videos. You're watching too. Alright then crisis averted. Liking the videos so far!
The day they make one that climbs and vacuum/mops stairs and the second floor, I will happy.
Can’t wait for that… with cooking options though
@@armenstaubach9276 😝
there is robot called "wife" though
Additionally I won't mind if it does windows and mirrors too... in one charge 😀
@@NicolasMontchery while simultaneously giving us heads
thank you for the important updated. it changed my view on this mop robot
Awesome video. Nice work!
Didnt expect you here
I (enthusiastically) subbed to a high-quality vacuum review channel. Is this 'middle-age'? Am I middle-aged now?
Oh hello Zach
@@nejkocookie1153 same
And I’m the third comment on this yay
👀
Love the new keep out zone feature, my i7 no longer gets stuck under the dishwasher!
Hey there, I really enjoy your videos on robotic vacuum and mops they're personality my favorite . Would love to see some comparisons between different generations and makes/models of robot mops . Keep up the great work .
Your voice and pronunciation it's really good to hear :)
This is yet another great review! Thank you so much for doing these!
Thanks so much!
Thank you for everything that you do! You make it so much easier. I'm a research hound for any purchase -- and you make it so easy to the find the info I really need.
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching!
I Love you
Amazing review ! Clear, scientific method applied and then convinced me to buy one 🙂
So glad it was helpful!
Amazing product. It replace my Bona completely. It clean in tile and also in wood floor. Fabulous product for anyone with kids or simply laziness to cleaning.
Is using the Bono wood floor cleaner ok to use straight or do you have to dilute it?
@@SA-eh5gd you must use: irobot bona cleaning solutuon. In 2022 they switch from the mixing formula to a gallon of floor cleaner. 1 for wood floor and 1 for tile surfaces.
I deep clean the floors twice a month with promises that I will maintain it in between and I never do. Recently recovering from knee surgery I purchased this and the Roomba and the two together are saving me so much time and work I will never go without them for the rest of my life.
I'm so glad you are happy with them!
Great review! Thank you for all of your hard work
Thanks you!
what do you do about the upper floor? can you move it up there or do you have to buy a second dock for upstairs?
Excellent testing!!
The next model should automatically fill the water tank when it's empty
Fixing Master I think changing the pad somehow will be nicer. The tank can always just be bigger inside the robot
Narwhal bot looks interesting on that idea. They have a patent that will hold refill up for decades.
@@KevlarCondom can you send me the link to this patent
It will be a problem for replacing pads though, which is where all the dirt goes to.
Maybe a base that also self cleans the pads by spraying water and scrubbing it with a spinning brush?
@@atomstarfireproductions8695 that should be very big mabye one that just replaces the pad with s new one and put the use ones in a competent for you to clean or throw them out after
I picked up the i7 a few months ago and love it. But I’m wondering if I’m able to see the cleaning paths like you show at 5:14 on the left. How do you see that for robot vacuums?
Any good replacement for the cleaning solution other than the ones provided by Irobot?
Hey all, bought the m6. After the dry trainingruns id like to clean wet but it is somehow stuck with "fill the tank".. Already tried shaking the tank and the sensor is free floating.. Rebooting also didnt help
When the s9+ gets no go lines will you pick it over the roborock s6?
thanks for the review-- question though- thus the dry pad kinda works like a vacuum that picksup dirt??
Very thorough and informative, thanks for sharing!
Figures I just bought the model before this.... though I have to say it has helped me a great deal. I am going to buy this one now.
Thanks for this video! Cant wait to get this now :)
Great and I mean great review! I just ordered mine and now I can't wait.. thanks for this 👍
Hope you enjoy it!
Do you like it ?? I've wanted one for months but the reviews are so split.
@@HaileyRoss22 I actually love mine! I have tile in the whole house so at first it only cleaned half the house with full battery and full tank but boy does it do a great job!!! Now, that it knows the house and cleans more often it will clean the whole house in about an hour. The cleaning solution can get a lil pricey for me but it's well worth it. House smells good and spotless. It really digs in there lol so no more hands and knees on floor scrubbing. I highly recommend. The only thing is that it doesn't sweep and I wish it did. But I got a vacuum for that no lol and it works wonder too! It's bissel pet hair one and pick up eveeything
Does this vibrate the pad like the first jet. I have the white bravva first one came with cube and always impressed how well it does
Since these use vslam, if I have high vaulted ceilings (21 feet) does that crest any problems for that type of technology?
But how well does it work on uneven tile surfaces?
Is that the small mop and little capacity of water tank are sufficient to clean the entire house
Questions left unanswered: Does it work with the 980? If so, how? Also, is there any detergent in the water or just water. And, what about the space between tiles? It cant clean that or can it?
what about a review for best robot for laminate floors. and for cleaning and or mopping?
Do you think it would be a bad idea to use the Braava exclusively if I only had hardwood floors? Don't do any vacuuming at all... Would it just push the big stuff around?
Man, you are GOOD!!! Thank you for the video!
Glad you liked it!
Can the robot mop pass door thresholds? I read somewhere that only if they are a maximum of 3 mm in height.
How does it work with wooden floors? I got a floor that isn't sealed so can't use too much water. And how does is handle a uneven floor? I mean when some parts of the floor is raised compared to the rest.
Thank you for the review. I’m curious how this mop would react to a rug.
How does it handle on tiled floors? I read a couple of online reviews that it can't reach dirt in grouting. My kitchen and bathrooms are tiled :(
I got m6, have same problem - hardwood around the house and tiles in bathroom, there is small gap (like 5mm) fillet with silicone, it is few mm difference in height (I think 2-3mm). M6 went through first 3 times, now it doesn't want to go there. It is nearly entering bathroom and goes back. It pisses me off because if I want m6 to mop bathroom have to carry it there and after it can't find base so have to carry it back. What is interesting it has no problem leaving bathroom, only entering. Any solutions?
How do I use it for hardwood floors? Do I add the hardwood floor solution?
The m6 has a lot of trouble redocking after a wet mop due to the tires slipping on the home base plastic tray.
Do you have to map the house out or can you put it down & it mop that room three first time perfectly fine then carry it to another room and it mop that the first time without a lot of setup?
do i have to add water and change pad every day if its scheduled to turn on every day or can it go several days before needing to be changed and refilled? (will it alert you when it needs to be changed/filled?)
How does it fare on tile floors? Don't the wheels slip because it's wet?
I'd be curious to see some sort of test with how high a carpeted area needs to be in order for the m6 to avoid it. Also, do you know if you can draw separate keep out zones when using the m6 and an s9 or other supported vacuum together? Just in case there are areas that I might want the mop to avoid but the roomba to still go to?
Please could you review the Braava 240 vs 390t vs m6
I have door trims between rooms , will this go over the door trims ?
Hi 👋🏻 , thank you for your videos i learned a lot from you, keep it up 👍. I bought Braava Jet M6 last ¿¿"?month and it worked perfectly. I like it. But now i have a problem it just froze,by it self , the white light kept flashing for a day ,and I tried to do reset factory but didn’t work.the light 💡 just keeps flashing, do you have any idea how to solve this issue.?
Hello, there are 2 area of the hardwood/composite floor on the first floor of my house. The foyer and the kitchen, which are separated by the living room carpet. Will this present an issue in the way that this mopping robot will not cross the carpet area from the kitchen to the foyer? thank you.
Thank god, really raised an eyebrow that a mop vac with a $500 msrp didnt know how to avoid carpets.
reviews on costco say the sensor struggles with dark floors, what do you think?
with a full tank of water how many square meters does it clean ?
just for your info the 960 works with the m6
it will ask you if you want to vacume first
As you've been testing these house hold cleaner robot, your shown house floor must be super cleaned all the time! lol!
Would be nice to know if theres any benefit to having a 980 and this one. Or did Irobot completely forget its 980 customers? Also what liquid can you use? Soap? Water alone I don´t see being very helpful...
Hi love your videos! Can you review that new Narwhal robot mop that cleans its own mop pads when they’re dirty?
Would you recommend the Braava Jet 240?
Is this the best robot to buy for tiles?
Bought an M6 a couple weeks ago. Does a decent job but the M6 is the dumb brother to the S9 vacuum. Wonders around like it is lost when it starts a job, cannot go up and over any small lip of tile or transition strip and it took 5 times for it to map our house. The Roomba s9 is smart and quick. M6 fumbles around, needs help more often, but eventually gets things done. I am glad we got it, but wish it was as smart and efficient as the Roomba.
I am very impressed with your time lapse of the floor coverage? How do you do that?!?!!! :)
it seems he puts white tape on the robot and masks it in his video editing software
What's your favorite mop bot? I notice there isn't one listed in your links. One of the 3 iRobot models, or another brand?
Hi can you test the ILIFE Shinebot W400 Floor Washing Scrubbing Robot?
can it do laminate flooring?
Thanks again for your help
Always welcome. Thank you for watching.
Does it support multiple floors?
Ideally I should be able to set and forget this robot mop, but I guess you cannot just leave the wet mopping attachment on. Right?
One thing that annoys me is that the "tandem" mode works only with i9/i7(I guess?). I have the 980 and I don't see a reason why it would be impossible to first send one robot and then another.
How did you capture the “track” of your braava?
I love your chanel couse I think it is so random but calming to listen obout vacuum cleaner tech. So keep up the good work!
Can this do multiple rooms like living room bed room kitchen
What happened when the water run out before the job done?
How has Consumer Reports not hired you as a correspondent yet?
I think he rejected their offer haha
As a former subscriber to Consumer Reports, Consumer Reports sucks ass. These videos are much better than what they have to offer.
Vacuum wars stays strictly independent and non bias. Consumer reports has been seeming to have a strong bias towards certain companies and brands.
is that you covert cabal?
well if you really want to use this for a big house you have to let it run daily, because there is only so much dirt a single small mopping pad can handle. having to use it on a daily basis takes some effort and for the price i think the hizero mop is the by far better alternative.
Hooray just bought one for Veterans Day !!!
Do you like it??
@@HaileyRoss22 It's ok, I prefer my IRobot over this. Floor definitely looks better, but I feel it just smears dirt.
You want to give it a big changle try dried on egg. Its all protein and will stick to glass like glue. Heard something about threshold it can go over them if chosen to
Just bought an M6 I'm not sure where to ask for help yet. Does anyone have a solution for connecting the hardwood floors in their house? I was hoping they could drive on the carpet to my bathroom 😵
Does it work with the j7
Can you schedule mopping?
Does it know when the pad is dirty?
Please, do the iLife w400 next!
Can you do a whole mopping robot series like you didn't with the robot vacuums??? I need to know which one to get to go along with my robot vacuum to achieve ultimate lazy dream.
Hi! You should take down the other video because too many will see the other video and think that the m6 can’t identify carpets.
Also, HOW did you find out about the Keep Out Zones???????
Will this mop give you a detailed account of all its health and back problems every time it mops??
your wife does that too, eh? 😂
Does it leave streak ?
My 980 roomba has the option to send the M6 after it cleans just like my S9+... it’s not like they share maps or anything.
Are you going to review the I robot terra when it comes out?
Your videos are informative, honest and well made.
We would like you to make a review about "mop+ vacuum robot" .
There are only few available "mop+ vacuum robots"
Narwal is one we know.
But please make a video on this soon.
My white plastic clip broke and won’t clip properly anymore so it will open randomly :(
Can I use the M6 for Robo Wars?
how many rooms can it map?
I want to get the Braava and the Roomba i9+ SA badly
Because it navigates camera-based, I think it will not work in the dark, right? What do you think?
But is it twice as good as the iRobot Braava jet 240? It costs over twice as much.
Maybe I missed it but does it go over transition pieces, like between the kitchen tile and hardwood living room?
iRobot says, "Your Braava jet m6 is designed to navigate over thresholds that are 3mm or less, due to its need to maintain contact between the pad & the floor. Thresholds larger than 3mm may cause navigation difficulties. It may be best to relocate your base to a new area."
I bought Braava with i7. i7 is great (but very expensive), but Braava...very dissappointed. Tried every options, it always left tire tracks. I was waiting for Braava with mapping for very long time, but when it comes - this product is almost useless. Great idea, but reality is far different than in commercials. I return it.
Will it go over a carpet area to find the next flooring section? Like my kitchen and diningroom are separeated from the main entrance by part of the living room carpet.
It navigates around carpet but doesn't travel over. Look into the Roborock S7. It will lift up the mop pad to travel over areas - ruclips.net/video/-O7K4oerR4E/видео.html
Do you need to unplug and put up surge protectors so that the m6 doesn’t accidentally spray them with water?
It cannot spray an area it hasn’t cleared of obstacles
we want to see if the Braava M series is still better than the combo J9+. Interesting to see!
