The Rise and Fall of RVJ - Rob Vigeant Jr.

  • One of the most outspoken and superficially confrontational armwrestlers in the armwrestling world. Rob Vigeant Junior is often touted as one of the most naturally gifted athletes in the sport and seems unafraid to talk about his performance. But how much of that can actually be backed up by results?

    This wasn't meant to be a 20 minute episode, yet here we are. I hope you enjoy the video and share with me what your opinion on RVJ is.

    "Superficially confrontational" there's just no better way to describe him.

    • @alilacherruse
      @alilacherruse Год назад

      You just enjoy the hanging of that "quality" on him because of your disfavorable opinion of him or his behavior.
      Are there times he might be rightly considered "superficially confrontational? It's possible but an argument needs to be made.
      I, (and many other fans) being less speedy to condemn him think there is possibly fairer way to present him. Now I doubt I have swayed your opinion a tiny iota... But that is all right.
      We are all villains in some stories & villains in others.
      In case you missed it, in closing, I find it an overly harsh & possibly careless criticism.
      (& While I am a RVJ fan I do agree with the assertion that he has a fragile ego)

    I don't think there has ever been a more genetically blessed AW in history. This guy is natty and looks like hes on his Nth cycle. Unlike oleg zogh whose only genetic gift is his huge arm/hand RvJ is generally gifted esp on the strength department. I dunno, i like the guy he seems to be a no vs type of dude

    Booze can be an every effect short term treatment for chronic anxiety. Even doctors will admit that. The problem with alcohol is, as with almost every drug, the side effects eventually end up being the new problem. I found out the hard way, and hopefully Rob is doing ok now. I do watch his videos on RUclips and he’s a refreshing personality in an atmosphere of robotic, formulaic video content producers who regurgitate the same bullshit in the same format. I share his views on the growth of the sport, and how PEDs fit (or don’t fit) into it.

    So much talent and power it's inhuman. He is totally elite physically but his mentality stops him knocking on the door of greatness. Why do mmt and rvj bite at devon? Everyone knows devon is just having fun with all the banter. So over sensitive

    RVJ is a hot head when drunk but not confrontational.
    He gets loud when they start going at him.
    He just keeps toes in the sport because he enjoys it but it not committed to it.
