The cardboard from theKleenex boxes get crumpled up from it being tossed around or stepped on. This is fabric , so it is more durable and if it gets dirty, you can just throw it in the washer. I love it!
Loved the simplicity and creativity! I'm going to be using eco diapers for my son once he's born and I've been looking around for ideas as to how I can carry around the disposable liners without taking the entire pack(comes with 100). This project is simple, quick and practical!
I definitely need to make a few of these for my purse, my project bags, etc. I love the design and you made it easy for us to do. Thank you for sharing.
What a cute idea! I crocheted along with the tutorial. Had to adjust the number of stitches across to fit the gauge (reduced 2 stitches) and the numbers of rows-but it turned out just the right size. Thanks for a great idea.
I love these these are amazing I'm going to make so many of these and I love your ideas you such an amazing lady and teacher I don't know what I would do with out your channel amazing
I have a huge crocheting bag for outtings and I carry a smaller version in my purse with thread yarn for applique crocheting for work. Love the tissue holder!! 💛💚💙💜
I need to put one in each of my current bags just so I don't have to remember to move it from one bag to the other LOL. One for my crochet tote, one for my purse, one for the car...
I did watch the live stream live and it was fantastic! I am going to make so many of these and I might even upsize it to fit a whole box of Kleenex. My brother has really bad allergies when the weather is bad. He puts a box of Kleenex in the car with him, but it always gets all messed up and dirty. This is going to be a lifesaver for him. thank you so much! Also, I just found out that my sister is having a baby! I am so excited! I was hoping that you could come up with some adorable unisex baby things. I am already starting to make all of your baby blanket and baby toys. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I love your Channel!
Hi! Congratulations for your sister :) Thank you for watching and the suggestions! We have a whole baby playlist you might want to check out (pretty much everything we've made is unisex, just use whatever colour you like!) ruclips.net/p/PLU-tvdaf-Fne4FkuFqbBRnGZsvnP9kA_p
Thank you so much! I didn't know you had a whole play list on baby! I looked at it and I love everything in it! It is goinng to be hard to choose what I am going to make first! I love your channel!
I love this! My pack of tissues always ends up all wrinkled and grubby with dust and lint from rolling around the bottom of my bag. I’m so excited to make this. Thanks, Jayda! ❤️ from 🇵🇭
I just made mine and it is a scrap project. For me, it didn't take that much time and yarn. I had some pretty unlabeled yarn and I used that and it turned out great!
I was smiling when you said mr instiches and you had enough about winter...I live in Puerto Rico and on the side of the island where we got the earthquakes and still having the thousands of after shocks since december 28...im ready for a crochet project to dismiss 2020 , so I will do this project to make believe its over and starting a new year:)...love you guy's.
This is from long ago but could you do a full size Kleenex box? Rectangle and square covers. Other people do it but I like the way you present projects.
Hi Jayda , I love this pattern and video. I'm always watching and appreciate everything you share!!!!! You are beautiful inside and out!!@@ Slimkim from MI 💋🤩❤🤘✌💖💗✌👊👋😋🤗😊💞💕😍😆😎what else can I say???????? Luv. Luv, luv, your channel
Hi, try the first few rows as a sampler to see if you like your tension and the stitch sizing. If it's too big, then you'll want to use a smaller hook, if it's too small or tight, then you'll want to use a larger hook.
This is a very cute idea!! LOL........By the way have you heard of crochet autumn leaves sweater? Or have you made it before?? I saw a pattern of her tutorial on sirins crochet, but its for a child age 9-10 and I have no clue what so ever on how to make bigger...and this girl doesn't know either. I'm not experienced enough to even begin to try as I have not made any garments yet except for on top.
Hi All !!! Jayda, while watching a June 2019 video on pillow making you mentioned that you like dolls. I have just received a 1950’s Ginny Doll that I had as a child. I can make my own sewn doll patterns for any size doll but I am a baby-newbie with re-learning crochet. I cannot even read a pattern or drawing of crochet, let alone write one ! My first “project” is going to be the to-go tissue cover for myself and granddaughter. So, have you written any Ginny-size doll patterns and where can I find your shop? If you haven’t could you please put this on that Long-long list of things you want to do?? As I learn this video’s t-cover and other stitches that I see you have you have taught, I would like to dress Ginny in a Jayda-inspired outfit. I want to expand the t-cover opening design into a pad for my electric wheelchair that I very suddenly find myself sitting in. Thank you all for the Joy you and Mr In-Stitches and those who comment give me every day. Hugs for All. Miss Chris
If anyone is interested I just made this using DK weight yarn and a 4,5mm hook because I have a tight tension. I did 25 chains to start that is 24 stitches on the first row. And 18 rows. that gave me a rectangle that was 15 x 17cm
Oh my goodness, I was wondering what to make while I'm on holiday in Australia for three months I will make a few for my friends. Thankyou so much. I might have to keep one for myself.😀
P.S. YOU ARE THE BOMB!!!!!! PLEASE BRING MORE INSTANT GRADIFAGATUON SP??? PROJECTS, I LOVE THEM!!!!!!! SIMPLE AND SMALL!!!

Oh no, I missed this when it was live! So sorry! I'm watching now, though. :P
Hi Betty! Thank you for popping in :) We hope you had a great weekend!
Will the travel pack tissues fit in this?
Hi! The entire pack of travel tissues (usually found in those little rectangular packages) does fit in this 😊
I was wondering if one of the pocket tissues with fit in it??
I just made mine and I put pocket tissue in it and it fit perfectly! I hope this helps.
Ha! Just cleaned out my purse this morning.
Now you have another accessory to put in it!
Can I use a 5MM hook ?
Hi, try the first few rows as a sampler to see if you like your tension and the stitch sizing. If it's too big, then you'll want to use a smaller hook, if it's too small or tight, then you'll want to use a larger hook.
Do you have a video on basket weave?
Hi Jamie, not yet, but thank you for the suggestion :)
Cute and useful
Thank you for watching 😊
Hi love your channel 🥰🥰
What about a Make up bag
Hi Dora, Thank you for watching and for the suggestion!
Excellent!!
Thank you Dawn!
Could you use any size 4 yarn
Hi Christie, yes! You want to choose a yarn that doesn't have fluffy little bits or that sheds, just so nothing comes off on your tissues!
I made one for my purse and I'm making one for my sister's birthday. =)
What hook size did u use I used a G and it looks real small
Julie Leasure She used an I hook.
Julie Leasure Julie, use an I hook, she says that in beginning of the video
@@valferguson8322 thanks some how I missed it.

🤗
I love this idea!can you make a train omigurumi.
Thank you for the suggestion :)
Can you use this project in red Heart Arylic? Blair
Hi Blair, acrylic yarn gives off little bits of acrylic fiber, which you might want to keep out of your face tissue :) But yes, you could use it!
@@JaydaInStitches oh ok thanks 💙💜🥰
This is so great I never habe a tissue when I need one

I’m thinking I’ll do this with a smaller gauge yarn. So it won’t be as bulky.😃
Hi Lisa! You might have to adjust the number of stitches you start with and the number or rows you use - keep a tissue handy for reference :)

My tissues are 8 inches in width and 4 1/2 inches in length
