Doesn't really sound much different than their most recent releases. They've always held onto that TFB sound at the core, they just went more power pop with it.
I swear new Front Bottoms always revert me into a care-free, younger version of myself. The evoke such a good feeling.
I KNOW RIGHT? They give a youthful and freeing feeling and when you sing the words so intensely it’s just the epitome of living hahah, it feels so good to just be in the moment. I think that’s what their songs do, they let us forget what’s happening for just a couple minutes at a time so we can vibe out as hard as we can lol

So, I just came back home, quite drunk and with some fast food I bought with my last cash. My dog is super happy because I've returned, and so am I because I just met a friend I haven't seen for over 2 years and also gave some food, chockolate, a few bucks and some dog food for two homeless people I met this evening, and now you bless me with some new music. This band got me through my smol angsty middle school years :)
I used to be a big fan of TFB (circa talon of the hawk, etc) and while I'll always like the band for sentimental reasons, I kind of never got into their newer albums. This song, however, makes me feel the exact same way that Twin Size Mattress used to make me feel back when I was a kid. It captures that same energy that older TFB had and feels so familiar, it just gave me a little hope. I love this song, and I still love this band. ❤
My old roommate looks JUST like Brian Sella. He also was the one who introduced me to the front bottoms. I miss him so much after he moved away. Sometimes I just watch this video and think about the good old days.
