@@TrueSoundTV I have a MOTU 16A that is completely hooked up to the X-Desk with the exception ALT 7-8 and Stereo Return 2 is connected to my cheap Behringer ADA just for the outputs. I saw your Ferro Fish which I want to replace the Behringer with. I also have the MOTU 8D for my Alpha Channel and other digital things. Love your setup, I plan on busting into the 500 series very soon.
@@TrueSoundTV I started redoing my recording space entirely. I bought the Neve 8424 to replace my SSL Matrix as the centerpiece. After watching your videos you have me very interested in those Victor Custom pieces and the way you route everything for mixing has given me some ideas I can use my gear for recording and mixing with minimal patching!
The way you use the SSL X desk is very similar to my previous setup before selling it and replacing it. But why you don’t use patchbays? It must be a nightmare to plug and unplug if you want to try something else. I have a similar setup with many hardware gears like you and I can’t imagine working without patchbay.
What a great studio with lots of wonderful gear. What are your thoughts on mixing in dolby atmos and do you thing you will be mixing in that format any time soon? Thanks.
