In reference to the Early Bird Entry for those of us that cannot get there that early we are left with just rubbish. I went there Sunday and it was mostly junk at 9am ish. So people remember the good stuff is all pretty much gone. Dont think i will go back, I purchased 1 Vinyl LP and a mangled Pop lol
@@aussieoutlawalt8411 you’ll find in the warmer seasons there will be double if not triple the amount of vendors so not always the case with mostly junk. Worth getting the early bird in the colder seasons bc there’s less vendors to pick from
Wantirna and Dandenong Trash n Treasure markets were run by the same crowd. Go in at 6a and watch all the cheapskates waiting in line for 1hr plus just to save a few bucks. Better to go with the flow than be stubborn and try fighting the tide
@@davidnorton7464 it makes not good business sense to me, the majority of the people go in and there is just Junk left to purchase then have less of an experience and prefer not to return.
@@aussieoutlawalt8411 the stalls hate and love us. We haggle, do deals for quantity purchases, are there to buy, not just for a Sunday stroll and a chat. A lot of the time market stall permanent dealers leave their vans and run around with us fighting over the casual stall holders stock like vultures then take it back to their market stalls to mark it up or we take it back to our ebay stores. I know a lot of sellers who will get off side if your buying stuff with Ebay open on your phone. Instantly tells the seller your looking to make money off them.
Any seller who gets upset if someone is checking their prices needs to try a different pastime/job. How would they know if you're looking to 'make money off them' or just checking they aren't ripping you off?
@@Ash_18037 The point is about being more discreet maybe? As someone else pointed out, if you know your market then you already know what the stuff is worth. That said, I've seen people checking ebay on their phone while they rifle through 50c kids books in Op shops.

@@YoureNowOnTV It doesn't change daily, over time sourcing the same categories you build up a knowledge of what is worth picking up and what isn't. If you are starting out fair enough, but I think a lot of people comp things when they are out from rabbit and don't even attempt to retain past knowledge these days. So many sourcing videos iOS just people looking stuff up on their phones.
For testing electronics. Get yourself a variable bench power supply. You can test / charge anything up to about 40v.

The camera's can be difficult due to needing a battery / charger. I usually won't touch them unless they're complete.

You can just get an old usb cable, cut the wires and charge the dead batteries on the cameras to see if they work...
I find if I don’t use the right voltage the battery expands?
Best bet is to get a universal charger from Jaycar they are about $80 but can charge pretty much all lithium batteries
