Just bought a 2022 IS 350 F in January. I love it, I used to own 2019 STI and do not missed it.
How much money would someone have to make a year to be able to own a 2022 is 350?
@@arthurgranados5840 it depends on how much money you put down
@@PreparationdobleH yeah but the maintenance and all that you get me ? Like someone can be working at mc Donald’s and make 10k a year (being sarcastic) and they put 40k down payment. They still won’t be able to afford the maintenance and other stuff
I love my 2014 Lexus IS350 RWD with Luxury Package which I purchased through Carvana. Had for a year and a half with 42000 miles on it when purchased. No accidents. Only thing went bad was the radio. Since it was under warranty, radio was 2500.00 my deductible was only 50.00. No issues what so ever. Drives like a beast.
Yeah they're great cars. End of the day, it's a toyota.. toyota thinks things through before they release their products.
How much did you pay for your is350?
@@junior17medval 20,000 1 owner. Absolutely Gorgeous condition. Trouble free.
@@bronxtaskforce01 that was a good deal man. Can’t decide if I want a 2nd gen or 3rd.
@@junior17medval Go 3rd Gen. 2ND Gen is beautiful but 3rd Gen is more Sporty look and less recalls on them. Radio I mod to Android auto / Carplay with touch screen.
You’re right the car is not fast however it’s quick.
I have owned my Lexus is 350 f sport for 7 years now... Honestly it is a gimmick. I used to show everyone the gauge movement but after 2 months I stopped moving it. I don't think it will fail. It's pretty solid
I own a GS Fsport, and a GX 460….selling my S4, and A5, purchased a IS….just wanted this model. I am looking forward to it, waiting in PA, can’t wait to drive down to grab it…I should blog!
I just got a my first new lexus Is 250 f sport and love it!!
I have the 2014 is350 fsport..138k...same plugs..same lights..same everything and not ONE DAMN DAY IN THE SHOP. ONLY REPLACED TIRES AND BATTERY.
How is the gas mileage on it. Its my only concern with the increase of gas prices right now😵💫
@@easycash1368I averaged 11.7L/100 or 20mpg over about 190 fill ups. I tracked every tank on Fuelly. And I have a heavy foot.
@@easycash1368 i have a 2015 is350 f sport and the gas milage is pretty bad, especially if a majority of your driving is city miles, like me. i personally get around 300mi a tank sometimes 280. a lot of people have had the same experience too. I also take into consideration that i have the AWD version and it is a 3.5L so i guess i shouldnt expect anything crazy mpg wise lol
Great video, I love my 2014 IS300h premier
While it's mostly true Lexus is behind other carmakers when it comes to jumping on the latest trends, (in the name of getting it right for reliability reasons) I do believe they were the first with an 8 speed transmission with a locking torque converter. This was actually during the second gen of IS and made it's debut on the IS-F at a time when other manufacturers were introducing 6 speed transmissions, and had 8-10 speeds still in development phase. I could be wrong and someone else beat Lexus, but someone told me that once.
It’s true but small correction - it was the first production 8 speed and released in 2007 with the LS460. The ISF got that transmission (mildly tweaked) in 2008
Thank you! Really helpful!
No problem!
I have a 1st gen is and a 3rd gen is and they BOTH eat tires regardless if can be rotated or not. However, the 3 is can be squared up and have the look you want with the tires and now the warranty can be honored. You will need it bc of the inner tire wear.
Eats tires if you drive like a hooligan haha
To get better tire life get stronger control arm bushings.
I went for the 2is350 because it’s even cheaper, just as reliable and quicker than the 3is
I'm looking for a 2015/2016 Blue IS300 or IS350 AWD
The 250 is a terrible engine, it doesn’t have port injection so carbon is a defo possibility , the 350 has port and direct injection so 350 all day long
Any update if Josh still has the car today? And if he’s had any issues since? Love the video btw. I want to get an IS350 F this video makes me more confident in my decision.
He’s sold it no issues! Drove it around and cars still feels really smooth at the time .
Good for new driver gave a good job tho?
I have a 2016 is200t f-sport (with 65k miles now) super reliable. But tires, and break pads wore out fast (maybe last around 20k miles at most).
Wow you like to ride the brakes huh. My pads had 90,000km and they were still about 70% life. You need to use that 8spd to downshift more, and don’t ride your brakes. 😊
anyone want to comment on the leg room in the back seat? Looks pretty tight back there. can a normal size adult fir back there? a 5'10" male?
literally debating between a 2015 q70 with 70k miles and 2015 350 f sport 100k miles same price
Did you ever decide? If you got the lexus I wanna know how its been for you because I’m looking into one as well
@@GhostM675 i went with the lexus i really like it. only downfall is i didn't realize how untunable Toyota is. so if you want to stay stock they are great
@@chrismanley7215 Honestly I like the look of the Lexus so much that the only mod I’d make to it is maybe an exhaust. But I’m happy its been good to you man. All the research I’ve done and hearing this makes my decision that much easier 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Update on the Lexus? How many miles now? Looking at a 2016 Is350 with 39k miles.
@@Alpha_Swiper I just got one with 41k and couldn’t be happier! 2014 base package
2021 was his rebuild year … ouch
How many k on full tank?
500km at least. I managed 620km once. $80 fill up.
i get around 280mi (450km) - 300mi (482km) on a full tank using 93 octane.
@@arminr3020 300 miles is 480km, not 186km. Thanks to both. Miles x1.6= KM
@@desmomotodesmomoto2033 oops, thanks for the catch!
Modern German cars are absolute trash
i partially agree. before the 15' is350 that i have now, i had a 2014 audi a4 and it was probably the most reliable car ive owned! The only issues i had during the 6 year ownership was replacing wheel bearings and suspension components that are known to premature wear. Other than that, just regular preventative maintenance. Although i do agree that earlier to mid 2000's model german cars were pretty bad lol.
