PREPARING FOR OUR GARDENS | MEMORIAL FOR BABA | KOOTENAYS BC | RUSSIAN DOUKHOBOR TRADITIONS

Hey guys! It has been a hot minute since I've uploaded a vlog. I was taking some time to rest and refocus for bit, and to really take my time editing this vlog.
A few weeks ago we lost a member of our family who was very special to us. In this Vlog, We travel to the Kootenays to say goodbye to our beloved Baba (Ryans' Grandmother) and to remember and honour her life.
But before we left, Ryan and I really wanted to start preparing for our gardens. I will be taking you along with me to a local nursery in Armstrong to pick out our seeds and seedlings. followed by our first big thunderstorm of the summer.
Gardening was something very special to Baba and in honour of her, we wanted to be intentional this year to really hold on to the traditions around gardening and canning that she has instilled in us. We also want to have a place of comfort that we can spend time in.
