- Yoo guys, today we are going over my opinions and tierlist of the descendants from my 180+ hours in the beta and off of my initial impressions for launch. This is a FOR FUN tierlist because it is something I get asked about a lot - "is this character good". I wanted to formulate my opinions and plan on updating them once I get more time with each character. Hope you enjoy the list, and once again these are my opinions based on my limited time. Cheers.

Remember folks tier list are often bias. Play what is fun, it's far too early for these to be accurate.
I feel like every character has their strengths and weaknesses. They compliment each other so well too! Breath of fresh air.
Some descendants are actual trash tier compared to others. Like I got Blair, which was a huge mistake. I can't imagine ever using him when I have Gley for bosses and Bunny for everything else. Without paying for new descendants, a tier list is going to prevent you from wasting a lot of time farming to get a descendant that isn't very good.

To earn him for free I think if you go talk to the descendant NPC they tell you what materials you need, for Blair AFAIK you need materials from one of the endgame zones
Only thing I see people playing is bunny. Bunny here, bunny there, bunny everywhere
She's basically given to you early on in the game and has really good AoE clear.

In Hard Contet seh is really Bad
Because she has a Mission quest line, that's mostly the reason why.
Well what do ypu expect easy to get, lot people zay she strong (even if over rated) and just look at her. Can I actually blame so many people playing her
Blair has a module that turns his first ability into a lobbed grenade and he is waaay better now

Yeah, when people start doing tiers and don't understand a character and what they have, then it discredit any information they are handing out.
I love when you go into detail about why you place characters where they are. It gives me ideas for how to properly take advantage of each niche ability as I level them to see how I feel they play. These videos may be longer, but it's much appreciated!

I’ve seen a couple videos before saying this but the game heavily rewards you for just READING all skills and damage are laid out for you to see farming and every interceptor boss has a resistance/weakness same for mods take 10 minutes to read your mods and any descendant can be viable

Been main Freyna and she hits like a truck if you have the right transcendent mode like contagion for mob clear for her and the first hope assault rife is wonderful

@@mochmaster45 yeah I know my biggest issue I am facing now is there is to many bunny’s and it’s not great at everything like I m trying to beat the dead bride and there is always at least 2 or 3 bunnies getting rekt because they wanna thunder zap and get close
@@TheprophetDJ as a bunny main myself. I just did bride today and it was pain. Huge dps check honestly. However her abilities are insanely easy to Dodge once you learn them
@@mochmaster45 I know they are but my biggest issue is bunny is not the best in that situation I need Lepic or Esiemo since her weakness is fire

I love this game. Ajax is so good, glad I picked him! Tbh, this game is one of my favorites atm. Total blast.
Ya hes my favorite so far cuz solo play. I feel like youd have to grind as a squishy character to do solo dungeons or max out dmg mods n i dont think thats fun. Youll need some dmg mods for soloing colossus tho cuz theres a time limit.

@@d-mart3733find what one you like. They play kinda different like all the chars. Find a couple chars you like and use them. It’s PVE so any char will be fine

esiemo becomes s tier for bossing after you unlock the creative explosion skill module
Looks like I’m gonna have to pick Enzo up. I had a few missions where I had infinite ammo, didn’t realize it was Enzo doing that. Great info aside from the tier list because I haven’t looked at all the descendants yet. Thanks!!
Enzo doesnt replenish that much ammo.
@@blackyvertigo yeah. I realized a bit later after playing more. Think it might have been a buff for a mission I was doing. Doesn’t matter though. Still pretty cool

@@mochmaster45 well yea if your comparing bunny burst dps against Freyna DOT damage that ticks away slowly but surely, then maybe that's why.. her scaling is fine with poison..not sure what your mean.. 🤔
@@sikevillian I mean Apples to apples it's just less damage. Sure it's nice you can apply it and forget it for a few seconds, but my poison ticks are 10% of my bunny aoe ticks. Because when you think about it bunnys aoe is basically a dot. It ticks every 7m so it's sorta like a 1 second dot
Gley technically has the best AoE in the game, her 3rd skills gives her Infinite ammo while in Frenzy, stack Duration with it and use a launcher. Easiest mob clearing.

@@MantisXShadow ehh I disagree even with a launcher with infinite ammo it's still not better than bunny who can 360 1 shot mobs that's always up and she has a speed boost
@@kalenthedon8546 doesnt 1 shot things later on nor the bigger trash mobs. in hard mode bunny is still amazing but definitly stops 1 hitting everything.

I don't know if Gley improves a ton in late game, but I'm around level 35 right now and I struggle a lot with just getting consistent Life orbs to keep her going.
There is a rare mod called HP Collector that will give you a percentage of HP back every time you kill an enemy with X cool down. That + health and def mods should handle your survivability.
You have to drop shit and be really aggressive with gley. Or you have to build into being able to tank stuff with no shield Gley is really a solo class honestly and op af solo. I can only see her for burning bosses and colosus with teamplay

Right, I'd put her in B at least, only because her utility on bosses is reduced in duration. Valby is in a similar position, but her utility reduces electric and nonattribute resistance.
Why put my girl viessa that low 😅?
When shit hits the fun Viesa CC is gold.
Hypothermia has potential to be super strong, but I'm yet to acquire, nor have I seen a build with it so far.
I bought Esiemo and once I figured out how play him properly and set up his mines , I start having lots of fun with him . Great character!

It clicked for me, saw streamer Gothalion say it took him maybe 5hrs to really click. He’s playing as Kyle & it looks super fun. I’m saving money and will grind the characters. Picked Ajax & like him wanna unlock the other 2 soon.
I'd make an argument for bumping Ajax up a tier. There's a mod you can get that makes expulsion get 2 charges which is cool and allows for higher uptime. His dome is just raw protection from all angles so even if you're surrounded you'll be fine. His regular shield can cover a flank or just help him shred through trash even faster since it reflects damage. Pair all of this with some of the crazy movement you can pull off with grapple and his jump and not only can you move around just as fast as a Bunny, but completely negate her downside of being too squishy.
So u saying instead of buying bunny i should stick with ajax?

That's funny that you put valby in S tier I switched to her today and really enjoy her abilities and the 30% less mana use while standing in water make it easy to keep doing moves while spreading more water which damages enemies constantly.

He’s not as bad as everyone says i got him and he’s pretty great ye he could use a buff but he’s pretty good rn
He’s good for defense he holds areas well

Been maining Esiemo and I'm having a BLAST (So much pun intended). If you know enemy spawn locations, throw the mines down and explode on spawn. His Ult can hit insanely hard as well.
Same! I got 4 characters and he is the most fun! Loading a boss up with all bombs and BOOM dead or almost
I bought him and I wish there wasn’t a cooldown on detonate, it’s dumb that his whole kit revolves around setting mines and you can only explode them every like 12 seconds
@@ITSTHATBOI369yeah that’s manageable with cooldown modules and you can shoot the basic bomb. But I hate how long his animations take. If they speed up his animations much higher DPS
And moving around while you do his ULT is terrible lol enemies have to be pretty much right in front of you
@@brandonmills1922 yeahhhh I hate that. At least you can press the button again to detonate early so you don't have to run around on the full limit lol.
Damn I was hoping for a third category in solo play.
Enzo is all i need! He's awesome, and working on some of his Ult Mods, like the one that gives you a drone or the more damage for allies one. He's just awesome. Good Solo too.

No matter what people might think of her, as a long time Warframe veteran who practically mains exclusively Volt and Gauss nowadays Bunny makes me lowkey happy.
She's literally the combination of both frames in one as she's an electric based speedster who charges her skill with a battery mechanic and excels in applying in a wide area tons of electric procs, as well as nuking effortlessly trash mobs by simply running around.
It worth nothing he's gonna be my main for a long ass time, if her kit also included at least a buffing skill that would increase your fire rate and whatnot like what Gauss does, she would have been perfect since she kinda suffers in interception battles
I’m a Blair main, and even if he’s straight up dogwater rn, he will keep being my main until they fix him. Which would be by:
•”Blaze up” should be targeted aoe, instead of right below you. So you just aim where you wanna drop it.
•”Extinguish” should heal a portion for every stove instead of increasing defense.
•”Burn Taste” is fine as it is. But, if I had to improve it, I would give it napalm. So wherever you aim that thing, fire lingers for a short time.
•”Deadly Cuisine” is also fine as it is. BUT if I had to improve it, I’d just give it a bit more damage since it feels lackluster as an ult. But that’s just my opinion.
Blair is a caster, not a tank, so the way they made him is counterproductive. He’s a caster(squishy) that needs to get close to use his kit effectively, which makes no sense. Range should have been the mindset but what can we do now. Hopefully the devs rethink some of their choices cuz even other characters are kinda messed up. But that’s for another time. Does anyone know if reactor strength actually affects skill 1 and 3 of Gley? I see numbers on the reactor but i feel like it has no affect at all.

How can you put ajax c tier he literally does a shit load of damage his shield reflects damage back
I’m running a 50k health 10k shield ajax and it’s unkillable, his stomp hits for 60k and his pulse hits for about 30/40k so defense and bosses he absolutely hammers

Been using freyna since the beta and still find her very very great all rounder, not amazing with bosses I find so far, would love to see your build for freyna and see what I'm missing. Thanks to your list here though I may do a glay build next, never used her in the beta.
btw I dont think you need ultimate lepic to get the spam ult, it says the mod is for both lol
how can you put Ajax on C tier like you need to do something really really really terrible with him cause i'm just in a god mode... gotta check that stats on your AJAX
Well I got through it all I bought ultimate gley bc I thought she’d be my favorite she’s awesome just having some survivability issues I’m keeping an eye out to see if you make builds for this game like you did borderlands
Since shes heavly reliant on health, try to max or level your max hp mod, itll help a lot, and dont forget DEF mod since it reduces damage you take by a big percentage, put points on those two and youll be way less squishy and wont get one shot by everything
You should try the vestigial organ with fire rate(launcher)Accelerated Driveshaft(descendant) its just extra FR but I think this is a really fast launcher and you can use gley to auto fire your launcher like a Torgue Minigun
Can confirm Ajax is an incredibly powerful Bosser. On top of *never dying*, and rescuing Bunny every 5 seconds, their Orbital Barrier is a phenomenal offensive skill that is criminally insane. Bosses like Devourer, which fire dozens of DoT projectiles that would NORMALLY stick to the floor and create a hazard, can instead stick to the barrier and deal *millions* of damage to themselves. My first fight against Devourer, he basically soloed himself with his own toxin spam 😂 (works much better when teammates actually pay attention to the shield too). S Rank Uno Reverse build. 4x coordinated Ajax putting their shield on top of each other is probably the highest damage output in the game, against those DoT spamming bosses. You can even set the barriers on already existing DoTs and reflect the dmg.
It is certain that I will play with Bunny and Gley. I played with Bunny in the beta, she's sho fun to play.
Valby is awesome. Fun as hell to play and such cheese in most situations.

Jayber turrets nerfed hard and gley has no self healing anymore
I think I wouldn’t be able to properly aim up to that boss with bunny ultimate…
The best characters for bosses are those who match its elemental weakness
Sharen when you actually build her with legendary modules damage is disgusting I hit for 500k on a burst tactical rifle with her shock nuts ascended module combo

more than the descendants i hope in the futur the weapons become much more unique in playstyle and fun... Because rn (im in the lvl 50-60 zone) i feel like i'm locked to play either a machine gun, smg, rifle that just shoot bullets and barely can use the shotguns and snipers weapons due to the ammo mechanic need they need to do much more and be fun to try a new weapon a good exemple would be warframe, wich i believe they did very well where weapons and mods can change how you play something
You obviously haven't looked at the mods in the game, there are a LOT that change your game play. In fact most of the rare mods are just that, instead of just passive number bigger you need to proc majority of them in unique ways or go with a more niche build to make them useful. For a just launched game I'm actually kinda impressed with how many of these rare mods this. And of course you still have the skill mods that change how they function as well.
Freyna is OP
If you use Her utility and her ultimate ability

Hmm I found her damage to be really lack luster with the poison. It only does like 70% skill power per second. Compare that to bunny who's shock does like 300% and also electrifies
@@mochmaster45 ya but you have to run around freyna throws out poison and keeps shooting and it spreads to adds

@mochmaster45 the problem with bunny is that you need to move to deal her aoe whereas freyna can just apply it anytime she wants as long as it's off cooldown. Freyna can place dots on one side and shoot guns to a different side, Bunny can't do that. Also Freyna dots spread and more mobs affected increases her dot damage.
@@maozhong88 yeah and I imagine there's a good synergy with the fallen hope or whatever it's called. But just in my testing I'm game and in the training area it's not even close. Bunny can also run and gun. But maybe with the perfect build they'll feel clossr

they need to rework the turret dude. I fukin love turret classes and he is booty cheeks his turrets wont shoot shit unless they are right next to it

I just found it funny how like you have all this lvl 100 gear haven’t gotten to the freyna quest yet 😂 i did all the stuff last nnight and it took me forever. They said it has 20% drop rate by i had to do each quest at least 10-13 times :(
Same here. I dont get the last Material after 10 runs. Seems we are really unlucky😂

I spent all night restarting the quests that drops the Freyna items needed and finally got everything. Then I'm met with a 15 hour wait time. WTF? lol I really don't want to do the same thing with the other characters now. :(

i saw someone saying your motherboard is overclocked from manufacturer and you will need update to fix
Kyles utility isn't being given enough credit here just giving shields to teammates is selling it short i save my team half the time because i can soak up massive damage while reviving people and as soon as they're up i instantly give them full shields, no one dies on my watch. also my 4 ability is like a 1 minute cooldown and nukes very easy to spam it off cooldown.
love Moxsy but this tier list isn't it. feels backwards from what me and my friends are experiencing in game.
Man im so mixed about the game i dont know if it's worth it to keep investing into bunny existing Ultimate Bunny but i cant buy her and it turns out geting her farming it's near to imposible, i mean 3% drop rate that is total bullcrap.
Getting my valby in about 10 hours been farming for her for a few days, prob gonna go with Gley or the drone guy after
I'm not farming her but acidentialy get her during grind for other character module
This game is grinding as hell. When you reset your character level back to level one just to unlock a symbol to lower points to have more modules points. They increase the pionts to level up. It takes longer to level up.
Its been 2 days since release and people are already forma the mod slots... bruh... You don't know what grind is.
@stevendeamon bro I play the beta, and it's harder than it is now. It sucks that we get disconnected alot when we are grinding. Random people don't have the correct gear for bosses and they keep dieing.
Well that's literally the same as warframe so I don't think that's the main issue. The issue is the ludicrously low rates of character parts lol
Why is Viessa at B in AOE? Ive had viessa's in my team and they do pretty well with their freeze bombs.
Because most of her abilities doesn’t kill instantly like the other AOE characters, you mostly freezing/slowing down enemies and you still have to use your gun to fully kill each enemy. Bunny on the other hand you can just run around the enemy to kill them without using your gun so yeah B tier is right for her
@@chefwudy9385 Good luck running around as bunny on wave 35 on hard defense lol. Viessa clears bunny in certain scenarios.

just look at info you will know specific place to get it but depend on rng not guaranted you get module you wanted

If this game is anything like warframe the mods and equipment will make any character broken
I bought Yujin when I started the game... He is barely viable in teams and ABSOLUTELY USELESS alone... It was so heartbreaking realizing I couldn't finish certain missions with him.
Think this is a skill issue , every class can solo this game
I find this very difficult to believe, after seeing his abilities and watching breakdowns and gameplay in him, particularly the “barely viable in teams” bit.
Sleeping on epic being higher. Stacking def and hp...he's a tank. More uptime on bosses because I'm not downed as much.. I. Constantly picking up bunny and gley on bosses. I can sit in bad floor because of my passive for more uptime and whatnot
people not pick lepic because too generic but lepic suit my playstyle so I often use him for boss
Over here soloing all bosses with Kyle like it's nothing.

He even said he's solid at bossing, and maybe for solo tanks are best. But in a group setting for bossing they have utility whilst things like gley nuke them.
