Impressive Mr Mike, looks interesting. I gotta try this during one of the Holidays. You think this would make a good barbecue sammach with coleslaw on top????
I’ve been double smoking hams for years, a trick I learned from the get, trim off the fat and thinly slice the bark remaining as thin as you can slice, that way the rub and second smoke penetrates the ham. My family and friends love them for Christmas and Easter.
Doggone Mike, have always loved ham in all forms but never thought about low and slow like a pork butt. I gotta try this for sure. Thanks for sharing this great, new for me, ham recipe. Later
Hey Mike, hope your July 4th has been good. Saw your post this morning of the two pork butts you're cooking today. I know they were great. Just a thank you for this video a few weeks ago on the pulled ham. Tried one of those today on my Bronco. Didn't have the same ingredients you used so I subbed. Apple wood, apple juice/water for braising liquid. Melted butter, brown sugar, apple juice and Mike's Hot Honey for the glaze. 10 hrs cook time at around 260. It was delicious. My wife is not a big fan of ham but she loved this one. She's already planning how she's gonna use the leftovers. Thanks again Brother. Later
