They did do a "rematch" on GSN's Whammy the all-new press your luck: Ed & Janie (Michael's opponents back in 1984) and Michael's brother James Larson played. Peter Tomarken even came back and hosted the question round.
@@christopherlucas4620 His brother was actually on the GSN reboot where he faced the same contestants that Michael faced off against. And he won against them too!
Nothing like having 3 former contestants from the original Press Your Luck back in the day when they won a lot of money. Since yesterday Theo won over $100,000 in the front game.
I’d like to see Michael Terhaw come back to the revival version of PYL. For those of you who don’t know that contestant, he appeared on PYL in 1986 in which he started round 2 with 3 whammies and spun 18 times without hitting a Whammy. One of the best comebacks ever in PYL history in my opinion
For someone to say that the remake of Press Your Luck is crap. Are you kidding? The producers did an excellent job with rebroadcasting the program. Thanks to Bill Carruthers, Peter Tomarken "Peter T" and Rod Roddy the program is where it is today. I've first saw it last summer at my father's house.

this episode is notable as well because as far as i know it this was the first time elizabeth banks made any mention of her predecessor as host peter tomarken, when she said peter to theo, pam, barbara at least 2 times in this telecast.
Can we have the lady who blurted out this answer to this: Peter Tomarken- "What article of clothing does the bride wears to protect her from evil spirits?" Contestant- "A Chasity Belt."

BEFORE & AFTER PRESS YOUR LUCK
ABC TO BUZZR
i can't imagine if M. Larson was still alive, the crowd would go absolutely wild for his re-introduction if he came back.
Imagine the Big Bucks Bonanza... the final round has a square for exactly $110,237
Or Peter and Rod.
RIP all of them
Lol the 1st thing that would be said is this board is Larson proof with so many patterns it’s impossible to do what he did in may of 1984

It’s a shame Michael Larson passed would’ve loved to have seen him back and try to memorize this board lol
LOL It was random by the 2002 remake on GSN. They were using modern computers to make it completely random and Larsen-proof. 😂
@@christopherlucas4620 His brother was actually on the GSN reboot where he faced the same contestants that Michael faced off against. And he won against them too!
You do realize that the patterns are completely Larson proof?

We need one of these episodes with Gene Snyder ($80 thousand dollars) and Steve Bryant (noooo whammmieeeesssss) as contestants.
Well there's also an episode that featured James Larson (brother of Michael) that aired in 2003.

Pam was first on episode 449 which was the infamous Sylvester episode

Still waiting for a rematch with James and Janie vs another generation/relative of the Larson bloodline.
Why was Pam's 2nd victory shown instead of her 1st one?

Maybe they would have an Annemarie($62k)/Randy(60k)/Chris(58k) (the three highest non-Larson winners) episode
