Hezbollah launched over 200 rockets and drones at Israeli military positions after a senior commander, Muhammad Nimah Nasser, was killed in southern Lebanon. This significant attack marks the second major strike in two days. It targeted military bases in northern Israel and the occupied Golan Heights, increasing tensions along the Lebanon-Israel border. In response, the Israeli military said it is striking launch sites in southern Lebanon. Most of the incoming projectiles and drones were intercepted by Israeli defence systems. The Israeli military said one of its officers was killed in the rocket barrage.
