Korisau has been nursing a back complaint though and isn’t as strong as Robson in defence

What a team lad
Madge has finally done what needed to be done. Picked players on form and in position. Enough said. Its up to them to cement their reputations made at club level in those positions and prove that they can bring it to the Origin Stage. The coach doesn't need the added headache during origin week coming up with a game plan to suit players playing out of position. Neither does the player have to adjust to playing out of position in a week. Teddy was a major reason why we had so many fullbacks and wannabe fullbacks lining up out of place.
Not sure if Nicho is up for it since he went missing in the time he played against the panthers . The man is not good under pressure . Hopefully he proves me wrong

He is smart enough to know he must produce in game 1 or they won't give him a third chance at origin.

Nicho isn't the play maker at that level.

While I do think he is capable I don’t want Haumole making 40+ tackles. Come on in the 18-20 minute range and absolutely bulldozer the tired middles and backs

Api Korasau the only miss for me. I reckon he brings more attacking threat to the side. It's scary to think NSW can put up a team when they are missing their key generational talents to injury and club form. Latrel, Cleary and Turbo.

& that will also be NSW excuse when they lose. Lets not forget queensland are missing 3 absolute guns Tino Flegler & Munster. Not a heck of alot of diffrence in my eyes In a big game History has showen Munster out plays cleary, cleary has yet to perform at a origin or internation level. Flegler and Tino do just as much damage up front as what turbo and latrell would do out back.

Nsw selection is always based on form. No core team combinations stay. No maturity in the team every year. It's always a fresh new team to learn from eachother and learn the competitive level of origin.

As a qld fan, I was hoping that Teddy would be selected.
On Fox league on the weekend, Mal said it should be Tedesco, as did Harry Grant and per Cronk. That told me plenty.
Teddy was only picked last year bc Freddy is biased. Rn Edwards is in better form

I think that's a great looking squad.
This is a mean team the only reason why we lost last year is because Penrith was the only best team the rest of the teams were garbage. Now we have , sharks , Melbourne , roosters playing well . The players are up to par with Penrith it’s gonna be a sweep.

I cannot for the life of me understand why they would pick joseph suaalii possibly in my 64 years of watching and playing rugby league is the most overated player I have ever seen. Runs the ball back hard defends well yes. I have watched every game he has played and HE VERY RARELY BEATS DEFENDERS AND HAVE NEVER SEEN HIM ONCE BEAT SOMEONE AND RUN ANY LONG DISTANCE TO SCORE A TRY. You see players do this every week. Have not seen him do it in 3 years or ever been man of the match. I must be living in an alternate universe I just cannot See how they rate him at all.

Marroons will always have the upper hand coz they stick to they old players and they respect. Their Captain is still playing. Tedesco is the best player and he is the current captain of NSW and this is how you send him out. I have been supporting NSW all my life. Selectors and coaches they don't learn any mistakes from the past.
What do you mean Qld's captain is still playing? Beetson isn't still playing, or wally Lewis, or Paul Vautin, or Darren Lockyer, or Cam smith. Players get old and the baton gets passed to the next generation. Tedesco is not the "best player" today; he is still good, but is not the force he was 5 years ago.

@@owenfoster504 When a team can stay on top of the comp, while using a back up half back, while Nathan is either suspended or injured. How good of a half back is he? I reckon he's average, at best. Besides that, Cleary goes MIA in origin.
