This performance is really something else. The closest she has sang this to the studio since 1993. She returned several Adlibs she has dodged like going up at 2:00 which she has only done one time since this. The 2:33-2:41 is extremely rare and only present in two other performances, not since 1993. The bridge from 2:53-3:09 is phrased appropriately for the last ever time and she even does bridge belt at the end. Did she listen to the studio before performing and why did the dress rehearsals days early sound so like the new normal??
@@kezoorfilipe1847 yep! That's also how we have the DOL bootleg and "i just cant stop loving you" from 2011. The cbs special in 2003 was the dress rehearsal. This bootleg is the real opening night.

@@starlight0002 the cbs special aired as opening night in actuality was dress rehearsal. I think oprah may have been too.
@@Tcottong a dress rehearsal with an audience?

@@Tcottong right
I really like 2-53 to 3-09. The only thing I don’t like about this performance is how nasal she sounded.
