no this is a tutorial series and no full versions have ever been released and i myself don't have a full complete one as this would take years to achieve alone but it is working and it runs great to learn to code.
I have been thinking a 718 or 614 with osrs bosses would be a fun thing to play offline. But ofc getting all that content onto a pre eoc server would be mad difficult right? Do you think this is possible to make without having to do any serious coding from scratch?
Anything is possible with coding but it won't be easy as the maps don't exist and are coding differently so you would have to either use a program that you pay for or have someone do this for you that has the program to add maps make them and also some coding for the mechanics and making the models etc its a big task unfortunately from a medium sized to a very long sized task. Would be awesome but unfortunately converting codes or writing from scratch alone would take a while.

This was the graphics in 2005 this was the rs2 prior to eoc. As for earlier you would want 317. Or 518 but there before 2005 period. Yeah you can but just be aware jagex can have private servers shut down hence why I don't plan of making one just showing people how to code using a game as it's better then hello world and all this other boring stuff

Hi, do you have a discord or anything? I wanted to start trying to code my own server but have nobody to give advice. These video are very nice, however, I was hoping to run/program an OSRS or lower revision server and have had some issues. Mainly abunch of errors when importing client/server files into IDE. Also I'm very new to this although I have some java program knowledge it doesnt really help too much jumping straight into all this haha

That's a good one, usually to do it you would change some of the server files to host on a lan or even a site to host it for local play there is a tutorial of this on runeserver. I'm currently away with family on a holiday so I can't really get access to a computer at this stage sorry

That's a good question what graveyard exactly could be not loading cache properly? Are you using the new or old cache usually maps and data are handled through the cache

Honestly just looking for a kind of Vanilla experience for my wife and I to play on casually. So was hoping following along with your tutorials would get us mostly there. They are great though for sure! The graveyard issue I experience is literally in the initial loading start area in lumbridge just behind the chapel. I enter and the screen goes black- music stops. Only way to resolve is to reload, but when reloading- if I take a step - it crashes.
I haven't faced this issue I will have a look at it today and see if anything occurs for me and best thing for vanilla experience is maybe a 317 revision that's osrs revision pretty much from like 2005. But it's also easier in ways for coding but as all rsps can be limited with low knowledge in Java but that's why I make these tutorials to help learn they way I did and I'm glad there helpful thanks man. But I will be looking into some of these issues and try resolve a fix if I find them faulty on my end.
Close the run command and do server then client that should fix the issue If it's a starting the client issue If it's not then what did you do to have this issue
i did all what you did in this guide, and when i started the server i have trouble with the mouse, it shows up like 5cm to left where the actual mouse is
All revisions and servers can be coded similar but not all of them are the same so in reality this works specifically for this server and client but does not mean u can't get a understanding to preform your own work on other servers by learning here
It will be either under player.java or the skill directly. But if your referring to making a character max then there is a command in commands.java if you are wanting higher then 99 then it would have to be coded in through client etc because otherwise it will throw errors
@pitbullunit6284 yes there is a way all cache is included with downloads I'll have to try find the backup as I have alot of hdd with stuff on them for all this kinda stuff. But also be aware if doing to make a private rsps jagex will have it shut down they already flagged me for making these videos

No but you could host your own or even just play it and add your own content as shown in some of this tutorial the bases of the game is to play on a server if you want to play with others but to play alone u can do that or you can find another source that has all u want and just run it to play it

nothing is different in the video i did this all live, only you seem to have this issue with mic volume. i checked the playback was fine but thanks for the feedback.
you have to make sure to watch the series because there is information on how to fix this in my series. this is a coding series not everything is ready to go live.
@@markh8190 there is a few ways to do this theres a site i believe noip that helps u route it correctly, you can't host from your own ip/vpn well i never tried that way. but even still never really bothered to make it so people can join due to i wasn't making anything long term.

@@Destricz it could be a issue to be honest, but that's strange try open and closing the applications or even opening up task manager and closing all Java applications through there

why do i get a java exception has occurred when rightclicking client and pressing run
i have all the latest JRE and JDK
did u use run as on client waited till it loaded completely then doing the same with the client as never seen or had this issue@@daizygenie

I can but it's a bit more then a easy video for reasons making it between certain coordinations or areas and to prevent dupes etc

Nothing to do with ports could be a java issue? But it works perfectly others I'll see what I can figure out

Are you running it In the correct order by using server then client before running again close it all down completely using the stop button

my cache download and rar is different than yours... why is that?
Later in the tutorial series u will need that new cache so I updated it
after i extract the cache.. it comes up as a idx file ?
Why are you extracting it? Because normally you wouldn't extract that file
How about a server that has cox and tob already? Can i just play solo and use one of the sources?
Cox and tob? Also you can play this solo just run it and play it which is kinda fun it's like playing ironman

you have to make sure to watch the series because there is information on how to fix this in my series. this is a coding series not everything is ready to go live.

How can i let other people join my server?
I got the jarfile compiled to my own PC, since i use a VPS. i changed the IP in the loader file within the client.
It's just stuck on a blackscreen 2%
@@markh8190 there is a few ways to do this theres a site i believe noip that helps u route it correctly, you can't host from your own ip/vpn well i never tried that way. but even still never really bothered to make it so people can join due to i wasn't making anything long term.

Stop all the application running and then restart the server then client should fix this issue

@@Destricz it could be a issue to be honest, but that's strange try open and closing the applications or even opening up task manager and closing all Java applications through there

Noone else I been using this for years and has not affected my computer and as you can see from other comments there is no issues.
@@TheyCallMeCoach2023 Had to turn up volume to 150% to hear you at the level other videos can be heard at 30%.
@@shinobuoshino5066 thanks for the feedback i had changed my mic and started to use voicemeter but in future ill make sure the volume is louder.
