Very nice. I agree - despite being one of those Czech guys - with pretty much all you said in the first half around God speaking primarily through His word and with the fact that every other way He may speak to us needs to measure up to the Scripture.
We would disagree around the cessationism. This would be good topic for a longer conversation than a RUclips comment. I agree however that in theory, and perhaps in practice, those that believe in spiritual gifts may be more prone to putting their personal revelation from God over the Scripture. I say "in theory" because I've hardly seen it in real action. It seems like the default, far more frequent way and a way that applies to cessationists and non-cessationism is simply to bend Scripture so that it says what one wants it to say.

Thanks Dan! I appreciate that. One thing I think a lot of Pentecostals easily confuse is the difference between "revelation" and "illumination". Revelation is something we already have in the complete form of the Bible, but illumination is something that should be a normal part of our Spirit filled study of that revelation. When someone tells me how God revealed some truth to them, I am usually able to see it as illumination of certain Biblical passages.
