    Di Indonesia juga ada di Sumatra Barat yaitu rumah gadang dia tidak pakai paku untuk membangun nya tapi menggunakan pasak kayu alias paku kayu dan potongan kayu yang yang di gabungkan dengan kayu lain kayak orang itu buat

    VERY nice joint. I'd really like to know the angles and thicknesses, depths, etc.. to make the cuts

      I don't think you really need these. The dovetail looks to be somewhere between 1:5 and 1:8, the rest is pretty much set by the thickness of the material. The usual third of the total width for the square tenon (this one looks just a little shy of 1/3) and that is pretty much it. It is scalable. The real difficulty lies within cutting those dovetails tight and precise.

    Not no way; not no how could I even remotely get that to turn out. I'd spend 16 hrs on it, nothing would line up right, I'd kick it across my garage, pour gasoline on it and toss it a match. This is why I suck at woodworking.

    "Удивительные и никому нахер не нужные навыки японских плотников" - так будет точнее. 4:10 Ничего более тупого, чем снизить в 9 раз площадь поперечного сечения бруса в месте крепления, я ещё не видел.

    A chair leg that have been pared down into a small pin is never good. Poor design.
