got a nice used 8x33 foot motorhome in 2019 for 13,000, dont need a concrete pad have 110/12 volt power water sewer and can take it on vacation, no building permits no higher property tax on my small property in Idaho
@igotanM16 true. But if you're 90 years old by the time it appreciates, and is paid off, then the appreciation was worthless anyways. (Because you're dead).
It is not a home it is a shed and it will last about as long as an RV. You also need to buy land that would allow a home to sit on, put in a septic, water and electric.
@pattiannepascual what utter nonsense. You think it costs 100k to fish a waste water line to the sewer or built a septic? I just built a 1100 square foot addition for $75k that required hooking into the sewer etc on it's own separate sewer line. Most of the cost was building the addition itself, not sewer and water etc.
Price has gone up since this video was put up, now it is $15,999.90. and probably going higher. What with the need being so high nowadays, so many people without homes after storms.
Not Water or Air Tight. Leaks! The 15x20 11,000 Or 20,880 if you use Their Payment plan, has NO Bathroom. This is the 13x20 ( 11.4x19.6) with Bathroom for 15,500 Or 29,500 if you use Their Payment plan. DO NOT Make Payments! Pay the 11,000/15,500 all at One Time!
So glad no jokesters but real intelligent talk here. Seen lots of people make these permanent homes. Other than your suggestions expert commenters how do you seal the roof to prevent leaking a tarp? Q. Can you put in an A/C wall unit split instead of window box? Is there running water in the kitchen capability I saw connections for the bathroom? I want one and like the large glass windows at entrance but can you secure them from the inside with exact finishing plexi glass to stop break ins? Imaging a large cement area serving as a wrap around walk way and a just above the roof of the unit have a square pergola large enough to cover to "encase" it from water damage and serve for solar mounting? Is there a better way? Please teach me. Help? THANK YOU!!!!
@@AngelLove-o8w Seen Many Videos about them being like what I said. I do Not own one personally. And If I posted Links, Comment would be removed. As far as Pricing, anyone can figure that out for themselves IF they bother to do their own math... and will find out I am right on that at-least.

I have questions too.. how well is it insulated? How and where does water and sewage hook up? Does it need a flat foundation. Or can it install on stilts on a slope?
@CH-jk6bf It's really hard to accept answers from a person living in different country. It's like receiving feedback from aliens. Plumber will only work as per the instructions. Septic tanks are placed from the "municipality ". And those aren't placed without house built permits. I can go on and on but you get the point why "plumber" answer is wrong. 👍
Watch the video, the electrical does not look too code. Every 6 feet from the doorway, should be an outlet. Then every 12 feet. How does this meet the electrical code by NEC. Standards.

Better than going 30 years in debt
I did just ten years
@charleymount582 nice
Tiny homes depreciate in value and don't earn any equity. Actual homes appreciate and earn equity.

Don't you have to do that with any home?
