With the vehicle unloaded and the included optional spacer installed, the SumoSprings will just barely touch the axle. With the spacer removed, you'll have about 1 inch of preload. The SumoSprings will not increase the ride height of the rear suspension. www.etrailer.com/Vehicle-Suspension/SuperSprings-Intl/SS45FR.html
The SumoSprings product is make of a more pliable material than the Timbrens, so you'll have a good ride whether your truck is under load or not. The Timbrens will not have any affect on your ride when the bed is not loaded, they'll only come into play when additional weight is added to the rear suspension. Compared with the SumoSprings, the loaded ride will be a bit more rough. Hope that helps! www.etrailer.com/Vehicle-Suspension/SuperSprings-Intl/SS45FR.html
IBC tote at 275 gallons is 2330lbs according to Dr. Goggle
Does it make contact and raise the rear of the truck, even unloaded?
