Congrats on the solo! For the bomb skipping, what is the difference between the animations at 12:06 and 12:11? I can't seem to be able to tell the difference :(
I couldn't see a difference in the animations, but I noticed that lucid doesn't summon the same things twice in a row (I think? This is mostly speculation from me, and I've never confirmed with anyone else either), so if she summoned something around 90 seconds after the last bomb, I would wait for the very next summon animation to cast hero's will. It worked pretty consistently over 3 attempts!
OH and one other thing, the butterflies spawn almost immediately after the summoning animation, while the bomb takes slightly longer (again, I think. I'm pretty sure it worked a few times for me). So, if you don't see the butterflies spawn when they should, that's probably a bomb
@@mercworstclass Looking back l do notice that! Have you done any of the mushroom shrine quests? The skill from that also works against the bomb, so l'm thinking about using that for the first bomb and then looking at the clock to look for the second one and hero's will/erda's will it after. I really appreciate the help!
As you may have noticed I have been studying your videos to try to learn mercedes better. I could be wrong, but I noticed a lot of times to start your combos you opt to simply jump and just enlil and leaf tornado, etc. rather than using rising rush into aerial barrage to start your combo. Do you feel like in general it's better to omit the rising rush at the start of a combo? On that note, I'd appreciate any tips you may have for a beginnercedes, oh almightycedes.
I try only to use them when I need the vertical mobility. Rising rush into aerial barrage is really useful as a mobility/dodging tool at times, but it's not very good for dealing damage, especially for a boss like phase 2 Lucid, which requires you to constantly chase her around to attack

Hi Bread, random question - how important is knockback and resistance and status resistance? I saw you have abt 75% knockback in another vid. If it's important, what are some ways to increase those ? mine is close to 0% for both, 214 merc. not sure why
Merc gets knockback resistance naturally from 3 sources: Elvish Blessing (hyper); Sylvidia; Freud's Wisdom. You you want to have 100% uptime on your knockback resistance, you can go for mihile's link skill if you truly need it c:

It's stunning strikes -> wrath of enlil -> stunning strikes -> unicorn spike -> stunning strikes -> spikes royale -> leap tornado -> gust dive -> repeat I try to stick to this as much as possible, but I did have to divert from this a lot to chase lucid around/dodge everything And this combo does need most of your main bossing nodes completed for it to be worth using
I personally like it much more, but I would wait until you're comfortable with comboing at 1 as before you consider rerolling 20 boss to 1 AS. If you get 1 AS first, however, you can definitely keep it!
Hi may I ask how you keep track of frued's wisdom along with the arrow skill during bossing?(More importantly frued's wisdom) I always seem to forget frued's wisdom and then i just lose the stacks :( , but with arrow i can tell when its gone because I cant hear/see it anymore but frueds got nothing like that I believe. Also big fan from reboot! I always reference you when talking about good mercedes mechanics to my guildmates and friends :D
Thank you! There really isn't a way to check freud, you just have to get used to seeing the duration/cooldown over time T_T. As for guided arrow, I dont actually keep track of it, I just use it whenever I see it's ready c':
