Man thank you so much for posting these videos, a year ago two months after buying my absolutely mint 95 base model non turbo my idler pulley seized on me and bent all of my intake valves. With zero experience (i’m 18) me and my dad had to pull the motor and rebuilt the heads completely and we just now got all the parts back for final assembly. Your videos are so informative and helpful and I will be having them right along side the rebuild every step of the way. Hoping she fires right up with no problems like yours did.
🤙 yea man u'll get it .. U need anything just ask
Dude! Yet another bad ass informational video! Can't wait to see this thing perform! As I said in the last video though when you mentioned snow...I still want you to take this thing out in the snow when you get it done finally! Like I said these 3000gt vr4's are stupid bad ass in the snow! lol as long as it's fresh snow and less than a few inches of course otherwise you'll be plowing the roads lol
Thanks man Lol just need to get it running 1st
About time, you definitely have earned it...👍
street tuning! yah,
yeah, yah!
? What u mean ? Yea yea yea like it's not or ?
Hell yeah man!
Fantastic Job on that car . Great information in your videos VR4LIFE😎
🤙
Great vids!
wow I'm very proud of you. You give me inspiration to continue my project !!!
Get on it
Looking fresh brother,
Thanks it's getting there
Don’t forget about the BISS screw on the throttle body for setting idle, should be useful for making sure your ISC/IAC has some adjustment range… if you still have it.
Love the content.
Thanks bud
Sounds good
Sick! So excited for you and well almost myself watching haha.
Had a thought, you fuel pressure could have been out because you have changed your cams maybe. As on my last engine build (2JZ) when I added larger cams if changed my vacuum levels. From memory had less vacuum at idle. Only worked that out as my BOV used to creep open at idle so needed a stiffer spring. But it stopped doing that after cams so tried to understand why and worked out my vacuum level was different.
Wooo. Go make some power now!
Yea maybe bigger cams make a bigger vacuum .... Lol I'm try I'm trying I just want to drive the thing
That flashlight stuck to the paint is equivalent to teeth grinding on a chalk board.
Lol
@ what time in the video ? If it's on the body the whole cars getting painted
Doope finally
Lol
I wanted to ask if you will be doing a video of how to install a short throw shifter there are no good ones anywhere on RUclips
Yea I may do that one day
I dont like when a engine is "idleing" at high RPMs. Makes my heart want to stop😂😂
Lol
sup really loving your vid found u cos im about to start a full restauration and rebuild... in one of your vid ive seen that u have a complete manual of the vr4 i would love to purchase it, would be really gratefull for the help!!!
Lol I can't sell that ... it's Adrian's for 1 and 2 we both need it still lol
@@huracanian3051 i mean where can i buy the book u where saying that everyone should have it well i want to buy a copy :DD
@@roan_cj you can look on eBay and stuff and see if you can find one most people just copy it and print it out online
@@huracanian3051 i will have a look. whats the boocks title so can try and get the ful book cos im unfaminial with this engine and the car itself. im a mechanic and i would like to think a good one. but too have all the exact specs of all the car wold be a godsend!! thanks for your time and keep it up!!
@@roan_cj I think you can download everything from here www.3sx.com/tech-manuals-service-technical-reference
Was the temperature gauge getting pretty hot as you were doing that?
Nope never went over 181
I had the AC fan on too so I was running both fans and I don't have AC condenser so it wasn't drawing any more power from the motor just added Cooling
as someone who knows nothing about working on cars. What does that orange gun looking thingy do?
It's like a strobe light and it only turns on at a certain time so you can check the timing
@@huracanian3051 oh gotcha so when you say you are adjusting the timing do you mean like you are making the belt speed up?
@@ianriley9760 the pulley has a mark on it every time the light flashes you can see the mark ... and then there's markings and numbers on the cover 20 10 T and u sit timing
