Thank you very much, Mark. I've learned many new things. If you have time, I have a question. I saw that in a Zemax sample named "1- Initial Camera Lens", when I see "Image Simulation", the "Demo picture" has the best quality. Can I use this analysis tool always? or does it not work in any case?
Because I used also other Operands MXSD, MNSD and EFFL, as I wanted the lenses to be between 4 to 10 diameters with a specific focal length. Maybe, as my limitations are more than what you've done, then I cannot see the "Demo Image" with the best quality like "1- Initial Camera Lens". But, maybe there is other problems. I don't know.

Hi Hamad, the Image Simulation shows you the quality of the image you're getting. In the case of the sample file, the system is well designed and gives sharp images. If your system has less good focus then the image will be blurrier. It may be best for you to go to myzemax.com and sign up for the forum there, where you can ask questions of Zemax staff as well as other Zemax users.

I was not able to reproduce your results after optimization. I think I reproduced your original file accurately. Any suggestions. Can you look at my original file?

Hi Mark that is another great video, thank you for sharing.
I wondered why you preferred TTHI instead of TOTR, is there any special reason for that?

Just that you get to specify the start and stop surfaces, which are built-in for TOTR

Hello Sir, we are designing 5x prism scope. We are facing problem with eye relief. 1) We want to have compact scope, but generous eye relief. For 3 inch of eye relief the total optical length is increasing very much. We are using RKE EYEPIECE.
Can you give us any suggestions or tool to be used in zemax to reduce the length of optic?
