“Sometimes you just want to look like a battle witch” what a mood
At first I find it to be weird. But as I watch the video I actually think she looks cool because her outfits are actually very elegant looking.
I have a theory that nobody actually wants to wear normal clothes, but everyone just feels too self conscious not to or hasn’t found their right style. Why look normal when you could look like a battle witch, or Marie Antoinette, or a 1920’s flapper? Seriously.

yes. i am finally convinced. i won't be the only one in the world. time to buy that sewing machine after the one i have in my room got into the unrepairable condition. i wanted to dress like the weirdo i am for years, but the clothes are very hard to find or too expensive. i watched many videos about making your own clothes in the last couple of days, being sad for not having a working sewing machine. but this thing hits so much differently. it is quite similar to the style i want. even more, if she can dress like this every day, why can't i make something similar. fantastic meets real world. that is what it is. ok, time to google what stores sell sewing machines then...

I love this video but one historical point of contention is about Salem. It wasn't about women with knowledge, it was about vulnerable women and how they fit (or didn't) into contemporary norms. Most of the women accused and tried were old women, widows, childless women, young women, etc. and the men who sided with them.
Many of the women hung as witches were widowed property owners. One of the very few ways a woman then could own property was to inherit it from her deceased husband, so these widows were likely targeted for their land.
