Rosé has been kind enough to overcome these prejudices and adopt a relatively older dog. This says a lot about her person. God bless her. Coming from a person who frequently volunteers at shelters. I am glad Hank has found a warm,loving home and a wonderful pawrent who loves him through all.

But purchasing dogs creates the idea that animals can be sold like goods, (then thrown out when old, sick, etc) and many countries still consider animals as tools or things, like South Korea. There is little to no such thing as animal welfare. Also, dogs from pet stores go through harsh conditions. The dog’s mom is forced into pregnancy for the rest of their lives, and they’re malnourished and abused. If we purchase dogs, we’re giving these greedy terrible people money. Of course, we do want to help all the dogs in the stores as well. Unfortunately there is not really a way to do that since there is still a lack of animal rights.
