Hello, I have the same machine and it does not recognize the hard drive, it does not appear in the bios and in the Windows device manager it says: this device cannot start (code 10). Do you know why that can happen?
Laptop saya Asus UX-31e samasekali tidak ada tampilan & saat di cas lampu pada tombol Power, F2, & Caps lock langsung menyala padahal normalnya semua lampu indikator tersebut tidak harus menyala. Apakah penyebab kerusakannya & bagaimana cara mengatasinya ?.
zdravím, prekopírujem aj sem 1mail, čo som práve psal 1známému - tiež mám problem s tou "el.zástrčkou" (AC-Power Plug Socket), a nemám ani mikro-pájku, čo by ste poradili? ? ahoj mám tu 1ntbk ASUS UX310UA (ZenBook, asi) nejde mu už vôbec napájanie cey power plug - príliš uvolnená tá el.zástrčka, (Power Jack Socket Port Plug For Asus ZenBook UX310UA) už rozheganá, - treba asi výmenit za nový kus, novú AC-Power Plug socket, - tam treba letovanie, - nemám takú mikropájku - - vedel by si to spravit ? ak hej, - povedz si čas, za kolko, za kedz, aj za kolko, cenu (když-tak, nachystám ti to - celé komplet rozoberem, al.roztvoriš si to sám potom) btw.čo som čítal a videl ohlasy - tento problém s týmto napájacím konektorom má asi vačšina, takmer všetky ntbky z tej rady, toho modelu.. (tiež - ten ntbk má presne 3+ roky, - tak tá chyba sa vyskytla presne, jako ináč, zhruba,zrovna tesne po skončení záruky.. )
When I removed the battery connection it was giving the same response yesterday but due to keyboard not working properly I skip it for today to do the same process but now its not turning on neither the power light on side is turning what should I do?????

I had the same problem but the screen remained dark even after I had removed the battery connection. In your case, it is a lot simpler!
