The difference between the "M" and all other models is not just the surface. All M-Models are made out of 7075 Aluminium with an hard anodized finish. All other models are made out of 6061 Aluminium with an MAO finish.
Thank you for your comment. We became aware of this information after filming the video. We are very sorry that we forgot to mention that the device is made from CNC milled 7075 Aluminium with a hard anodized finish. Since the 'M' models are the only ones with the glossy finish (515CU, BU and C do not have it), we inferred that this is what M stands for. Now we see that the ones from the 515 Paralow series that lack the 'M' letter are manufactured from 6061 Aluminium. We apologize for the mistake and thank you for the update!
Aren't these models also constructed of T6-7075 aluminum and don't they also have an upgraded IPX-8 waterproof rating? All this means they are constructed of a tougher material and can be used in under water operations at depths of up to 30 meters.

What does paralow mean ? I have tried to search this term but can't get a definition of the term.
What do you think about the solar panel? I am looking at the BU and CU models and the price difference is about $80. Thank you.

Can you rotate the hoods on the 515CU so they flip up instead of down like the clear ones? and are they removable?
Yes, you can rotate them in any direction and also remove them.
