Not many Pistons fans know we went to the Finals before the Bad Boys era, but this proves it. If I ever get down to LCA, I'm going to ask where the banners for the 1955 and 1956 Conference winning Pistons are. I bet less than 1% of Pistons fans, even where I live (Detroit area) know the Pistons won conference titles in 1955 and 1956.
Fun to relive this history. Maybe next time use the current logos for each team though, at least updated for when they won. The 1950s Celtics logo looks weird in 2024’s finals recap
